Mountain Hardwear Women's Crater Lake UPF Hoodie

I absolutely love this hoody! The fabric is light and soft and cooling. I used to wear t-shirts when hiking in summer and had to reapply my sunscreen all the time which was annoying and once in a while there were spots I accidentally skipped that got burned anyway. This hoody I just put on and forget about it. The hood fits perfectly on me and cover the neck completely. The hoody dries very quickly when I get sweaty or get under unexpected rain. I took it on my last 5-days backpacking trip along with some t-shirt and ended up with never taking the hoody off because it was too comfortable. Obviously it wasn’t the freshest but it wasn’t disgusting either. The hood also helped to keep my sleeping bag cleaner since it was too warm to wear a hat.

I love the feel and weight of this hoody. The 50 SPF is a big bonus! Would purchase another for sure, watching for a summer sale on it.

Fantastic UV shirt! I took two on a recent camping trip and it was perfect for canoeing, kayaking, biking and covering up at the beach. A bit warm but much better than sunblock! Quick to hand wash and dry for the next day’s adventures. The draw string cord could be a little shorter so it’s less dangly when wet.

Love it! Keeps the sun off; nice and light fir summer; great colour; feels nice on the skin.

I bought this a few years ago and it’s great even on a hot hot day, cool fabric and I LOVE the drawstring and zipper !

It's a great sun protection, this hoodie keeps you cool on ymthe hottest day of summer. I have been wearing this all summer for jogging, hiking, camping and bike riding, etc... So far it is holding up well, under the thumbhole ripped a bit but it will be an easy fix. This shirt is stretcy, comfortable and quick dry. My arms are long but the sleeves are long enough that I can use the thumb holes without pulling the fabric. I chose mint green, and the only thing I did not like about this shirt is that it stains and doesn't clean well after dusty hiking. Now the sleeves thumbhole area have permanent dirt stain. I soaked and hand washed it with Oxyclean, baking soda etc... but it doesn't come clean. I got mosquito bites through the shirt and have two blood stains on my back that took forever to wash clean as well. So while I love this shirt, if I were to buy it again, I will choose dark colors.

Did well to keep the sun off me and let the breeze through but within the first hour I wore it the stitching on the wrist started coming undone.
