    The BEST

MSA snowshoes are the cream of the crop. One can use on ice, or deep snow. The extra set of teeth on the bottom allow for extra grip. The elevator mechanism allows very vertical ascent with a much better grip due to the weight distribution on the snowshoe. This is my second pare, the first lasted 20 years. I was not able to repair them, too far gone. I used my older generation snowshoes on the west coast and the elevator mechanism was fantastic. Other tube style snowshoes do not give you the same type of traction. The new harness mechanism is much better than my original 2 toe traps and one strap at the back. The ratchet mechanism harness is much easier to enter and exit the harness. Very happy with these snowshoes. I have been snowshoeing for over 50 years. I would highly recommend. Sportcheck price could not be beat, not even close.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Best Snowshoes I’ve ever used.

Best Snowshoes I’ve ever used. Had the binding ratchets freeze up a few times, Gotta stay out of the brook crossings.

I ordered these for the guys in my family as they were hesitant to go snowshoeing with me because of the hassle they always felt with traditional bindings. No more complaints and whining, lol, now that they have the Lightning Explore! These ones are so simple, only 2 straps, click in place, stay firmly closed even when breaking trail in deep new snow. No issues with these at all.

I use these for fun and on the SAR team , they hold great in mixed conditions. and I can rotate the shoes for long side slope crossings . the Easy in and out make a big difference when things get "" urgent""

Great product. Bindings are secure yet easy to put on and take off.

I really like 'em. My first choice for most conditions. Add the tails next. I like the simple but efficient harness system. Easier than Boa! So maneuverable. Nothing grips better than MSR. They shed the sticky snow quite nicely as well. I like the lightweight design. In extremely deep powder or super soft conditions, I go back to my Tubbs 9X36"". They feel like clubs after using the MSR's, but the extra surface is sometimes nice.

    Great Shoes..

I bought these snowshoes several years ago and never used them..since I had a knee replacement....and as I discovered that these older shoes had the older straps on them...Iso called the company and I told them I had the older straps system...(which I never used) and wanted to swap them in for the newer Hyperlinlks...THEY SAID NO PROBLEM...so I sent the older ones in and got the newer ones. Love the easy on and off straps...The shoes are built strong and very light weight. Being 65 years old these are great shoes to get out with. These are very nice to use on groomed trails and also on some mild back country trails. Thanks for the great service..

Have been using the explore snowshoes all winter and they're beyond expectations! Having been on snowshoes for over 25 years these are far better than many others I've had and are everything I expected. From floating across deeper powder meadows, climbing steep ascents through the bush and over icy slopes I can trust the explores. Some have negative comments about the bindings and they're so far far from the reality for me; having the ability to quickly secure, adjust fit on the trial couldn't be easier and even with bunions on both outer edges of my big toes (an unfortunate hereditary curse) these snowshoes haven't resulted in any pressure points nor issue. Using almost daily in northern Alberta, Canada I couldn't be any happier with these compared to others I've tried and didn't hold up to the rigours I've put them through.
