The MSR WindBurner® Personal Stove System features a 1.0 L hard-anodized aluminum pot with a secure handle, windproof radiant burner and pressure regulator for steady performance in breezy conditions. It comes with a BPA-free lid and a 0.5-litre bowl that nests efficiently with space for a fuel canister. The MSR stove is compatible with WindBurner cookware.

The wind block collar adds a bit to the weight but is more than worth it. Works great on windy nights. Best stove I've ever had. Cup locks into place so it's stable and heats up very fast. Heats 1 cup of water for me with 100 g fuel so I get 10-13 meals from one small cannister.

This stove boils water in about half the time of its well known competitor! On my latest SAR/MRT snow and ice training everyone was borrowing it instead of using their own.

This burner is absolute Best-In-The-World! I can light the fire in all weather, from summer to deep winter. Just a kindly wish from here: Make it a little lighter, and no system will be able to compete with this burner!

Wind burner personal stove

I love this compact easy to operate stove. I used it on a recent canoe trip and was impressed at the speed I could boil water. I did have a water filter breakdown and had to rely on the stove for boiling water and the unit was effective as well as efficient to use. It’s a very smart design easy to set up, stable and easy to light. The wire helps knowing that the unit is lit on startup.

Great system until it isn't

I have thoroughly enjoyed my windburner kit. And has traveled with me all across the country. However, it's stopped working for reasons unknown, and unlike a lot of other MSR stoves, there is no maintenance kit for this that I can find.
