Changes Gears on its own!

The size of the bike is perfect for me! However, it likes to change gears on its own! I had only owned it for thirty days and was having issues. When I went to have it serviced they told me it was overuse but did something with the derailleur. It worked for a couple of weeks but is now happening again!
