Product Details

The Nakamura Jewel kid’s bike is the perfect stepping stone for your child to get ready and comfortable biking before upgrading to a larger Junior Bike. With removable training wheels, you’re able to start them slow and steady and then they’ll be ripping around on two wheels in no time. We all know there’s nothing worse than your child out growing their bike before the summer is even done, so the Nakamura Jewel comes with an adjustable saddle, handlebar and stem which allows you to adjust the bike to your growing child. A coaster brake is standard for most kids’ bikes but the Nakamura Jewel also comes with a rear hand brake so your little rider is ready for the next step up.

  • The proven and sturdy high-tensile steel frame features modern geometry for confidence inspiring handling

  • 18" x 2.125" tires will keep the child rolling comfortably and smooth over a variety and surfaces

  • Adjustable Saddle height, handlebar and stem allow the bike to grow along with your child

Very nice bike for my 6 year old. The back wheel was a bit warped when it arrived and the hand brake a little crooked, so it' is hard for him to learn to use the handbrake, but it has pedal brakes so its still functional. A good learning bike

    Flat Tire

The bike was delivered as expected but came with a flat inner tube. Which was a shame because we planned on giving it to our daughter for Easter and there is nowhere to buy a new one before then so she will be getting it with a flat back tire and cannot use it until we can order a new tube. The shipping also took an additional week due to unexpected delays.

Had a metal burr on side frame that was blocking bolt hole, but went together well after removing it.

    Not a great bike.

Disappointed on quality of bike. When I spin rear tire there seems to be lots of resistence. I adjusted rear brakes since there was some rubbing against rim however still not great. First bike ride pedal falls off after 3 kms likely due to install error. At the end of bike ride, the crank makes clicking noise and rear wheel has more resistance. I took it back for warranty service. Unfortunately I cannot exchange bike since already ridden. First time using Nakamura and likely last time.
