Great but sticking gear shifter

[Employee of fgl] My 8yo daughter loves her bike however the gears are difficult to turn in one direction after only a few rides. So much that she has to stop to move it. Haven’t tried to fix it ourselves yet but really shouldn’t have to this early on.
