The Nakamura Sidewinder kid’s bike is the perfect stepping stone for your child to get ready and comfortable biking before upgrading to a larger Junior Bike. With removable training wheels, you’re able to start them slow and steady and then they’ll be ripping around on two wheels in no time. There’s nothing worse than your child out growing their bike before the summer is even done, so the Nakamura Sidewinder comes with an adjustable saddle, handlebar and stem which allows you to adjust the bike to your growing child. A coaster brake is standard for most kids’ bikes but the Nakamura Sidewinder also comes with a rear hand brake so your little rider is ready for the next step up.

  • 18" x 2.125" tires will keep the child rolling comfortably and smooth over a variety and surfaces

  • Adjustable Saddle height, handlebar and stem allow the bike to grow along with your child

  • Intuitive and reliable pedal actuated rear coaster brake is matched up with a rear hand brake for the child to learn to use the hand brakes at their own pace

Good bike.

Great bike, No instructions for putting together. We used the photo online and figured it out. My son said the seat is too hard so we swapped it out for his old one. He doesn’t need the training wheels but it came with them.

Ryan at Sportchek Georgetown was extremely helpful. He provided useful advise on how to select a bike for my daughter, and he also helped to assemble and fine tune the bike as well. The bike looks pretty solid, and the price point was attractive. And most importantly, my daughter loves it!

Bike is excellent with both hand and pedal brake options. It was assembled for free and saved us a couple of hours. Also very well priced. My son loves his orange bike!

Bike was ok, service was terrible!

Bought online and picked up in store. I also wanted a bell, so I asked the employee to verify if the one I took was ok. As the scalator was broken I carried the bike to the car. At home I discovered that not only the brakes weren't adjusted (very hard to operate) but that the back tire hobbled making it hit the brakes pad every turn, and the bell was too small. Called client services to be told to drive back to the store (17 km) yo get it fixed and properly set (as it should've been). Got to the store and was toldnthey were busy and would need to come back the following day. I asked for a refund and walked away.
