Magic shoes for long and easy runs

After several weeks of running in the New Balance 1080v15, I've found it to be one of the most comfortable daily trainers I've used. Most of my running consists of easy aerobic and long-distance sessions, and the shoe excels in these situations. The cushioning feels soft and protective without becoming overly mushy, and I finish longer runs with noticeably fresher legs. The upper is comfortable straight out of the box and provides a secure fit without pressure points.Where the 1080v15 shines is its versatility as an everyday training shoe. It performs equally well for recovery runs, long runs and even extended periods of walking. However, I found it less impressive when trying to increase the pace. The high stack and soft cushioning can feel a little cumbersome during faster efforts, and there are better options available for tempo sessions or racing.Overall, the 1080v15 is an excellent choice for runners prioritising comfort, cushioning and durability. It has become my go-to shoe for easy mileage and long runs, and I would happily purchase another pair.

These shoes are extremely comfortable, with super-soft cushioning. The cushioning is excellent, and they feel great on my feet. Overall, I really like the comfort of these shoes.
My only complaint is the color. They are advertised as black, but in person, they look more like a dark navy blue or grayish blue rather than true black. The color doesn’t match my expectations.

These 1080v15 shoes are a new experience in comfort for me. This is the first time I feel supported plush throughout my step… not just the heel or mid section. Looking to purchasing another colorway just cause I know I’ll regret not getting another.

Great Mileage Shoe

I have been a New Balance loyalist since my marathon PR 15 years ago. This new 1080 is my favorite version of this shoe during that span of years. It is comfortable, substantial, and when called upon responsive. I look forward to many more runs in this outstanding edition to the New Balance lineup.
