New Balance Men's Arishi v4 GORE-TEX® Waterproof Mesh Running Shoes

as I have aged my feet have changed, this shoe fit is perfect, like they were custom made!

I bought this shoe to walk around Portugal and Spain à la seniors Lonely Planet. I’m old (76) and have a right Frankenfoot from a crushed heel. This fitted perfectly (extraordinary in itself). Lightweight,waterproof. Really comfortable and durable. Have to keep toenails trimmed - not much vertical clearance.

they are extremely comfortable and have very good support with very durable and thick insoles made of that excellent Foam so to make your feet feel very very protected.

These are firmer shoes and I got the wide toe box so it’s definitely helped. Not a ton of support, but a simple insole helps fix that no problem. The gore-tex technology is why I got these shoes. I work in events and always outside in inclement weather and these have helped a lot.

Very comfortable, stylish, light weight and waterproof

This shoe is amazing. I bought it for travel and wanted something comfortable for all day wear and serious walking. I also wanted water proof as I knew I would be exposed to elements and cold weather. I love New Balance and bought the Trail Hierro for previous trips. I have enjoyed the Hierro for trails and walks about 1-2 hours. I used the Hierro for travel and with 13k steps per day, they ended up not being ultra comfortable. The Arishi was comfortable walking 15k plus per day. I was shocked because they do not feel as cushiony as the Hierro. I think that is the key, they are not as cushiony and thus bette rfor longer distance. This shoe was warm (with warm socks) in 35 degree weather with light right. Love this show, will buy again and highly recommend. I bought the wide, game changer. Thank you New Balance. PS-Glad I did not make my decision off the star rating alone. I read the reviews. I understand this shoe may work well for me and not for everyone else, but at minimum, this is a good shoe.

These are warm and waterproof. They also accept tire studs in the sole, an easy fix for ice and snow running. Can easily drill 4x9 mm studs into the soles, which work well. The rubber holds them with no problem.

The shoe fits great for an extra wide. I am loving that these have Gore-Tex, keeps my feet nice and dry. One thing that could be a complaint that doesn't really bother me is that these are more of a charcoal gray than a black. I have had them for a couple weeks now.
