Really solid pickleball shoe! It’s a super stable shoe with a firmer sole for those who want something that keeps you connected to the ground. I love the way the heel cup keeps your foot in place and that they have a runner knot lace hole so you can really lock your foot down. I played both singles and doubles in these and they especially crushed for left to right movement at the net or baseline. I’m excited to see them in other colorways.

I appreciate the fact that these shoes are available in wide widths. For my taste, the soles are a bit "grabby" -- very little ability to slide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the first thing I noticed was how light the pickleball felt.the construction of sneaker seemed good overall.the flap on the tongue was very useful in pulling the tongue tight.i did noticed that the sole was very rigid this made playing on a wood surface not as comfortable .there was no give to the sole.this would resulted in discomfort to my the feet. on the other hand playing on grass or dirt the felt much more comfortable as they tended to mesh with the playing surface.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple, very clean, and not aggressive design. Almost totally white, but the yellow details really caught my attention. I’d have preferred a more modern/younger design. I didn't find the shoe extremely reactive, but as a recreational player, I really enjoyed the stability and cushioning the FuelCell technology was able to provide, especially in the heel area. I consider my forefoot wide and often find shoes too tight, so I ordered a 2E I found the heel to be hold in place properly all the time, while the forefoot has maybe excessive room to move around. That caused the shoe to be less reactive, imho, but it also provided the extra comfort I loved, especially in the upper area. Personally I think it's a good and comfortable shoe for recreational play on hard courts, suitable for both pickleball and tennis, but I haven't tested it on grass or clay surfaces. It seems quite robust as well, so I hope to play for many hours while wearing them. Time will tell!!!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Good shoe especially for the price. FuelCell provides a good amount of shock absorption, especially in the heel. It requires zero break in time thanks to the midsole comfort and mostly mesh upper. However FuelCell does tend to lose resiliency under heavy play / aggressive moving. The fit of the shoe is comfortable with a generous medium width in the toebox. I found it to fit true to size with maybe just slightly more width than I would have liked. The tongue is well padded but be aware that it can move around and fold over at the bottom since it isn't gusseted. The shoe is decently stable but high level players would likely want a bit more rigidity in the upper construction. Toe draggers will also likely wear the shoe out quickly as there is minimal TPU protection on the toe. Sole durability is strong with the pattern and material being similar to the 996 series. The 796 is a good, budget friendly choice for less aggressive movers or those looking for a shoe with step in comfort that can make the trip straight from the couch to the court.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
