    A great shoe continues.

Always worried when a favorite shoe is redesigned. New Balance has taken the FuelCell Rebel through five model versions now and each one has been an improvement. The new heal cuff feels nice. The thicker tongue? Not a fan but not an issue either. The outsole has received durability upgrades each version and that continues with V5. A great all around training and racing shoe.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Comfortable and very breathable. You can even see light coming through the front of the shoe. Great soft cushion similar to More V5 which is slightly more stable mainly because it's twice the size of the Rebel which is normal size. I usually wear 10 Wide in Hoka but I wear 10 1/2 Wide in New Balance. Fits well. Keep in mind that I like a little extra room. I still haven't found better cushion than my NB Super Comp Trainer V1.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

My runs are 5-6 miles long, so I can't speak for longer distances, but I love these shoes. I run three times a week and I've put about 100 miles on them. About a year ago I graduated from physical therapy for one of my arthritic knees. I was a little worried at first that the cushion on these shoes might not be a stable enough of a platform to run on, but it has not been an issue. They're terrific. Thanks NB for making the wide fit variants.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe is really very good! I have felt a big difference when testing it against the previous model. I feel very comfortable wearing it, with a firm step, good support on the foot, and above all, generating a great lift off the ground with each step. It is very light and agile, allowing me to have reactivity and speed in every workout. I use it for sprints as well as for middle-distance training. It has become an ally for my training and one of my favorites.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this pair mainly for jogging and interval training. I styled it with an all-black outfit, as well as with a black T-shirt and light beige shorts for a fresh look. The fit felt natural and secure. I even tried wearing one foot with v4 and the other with v5, and it was like running in two completely different shoes — v5 gave me a much greater sense of stability. With v4 alone I never noticed it, but the improvement in stability is very clear. The forefoot and midfoot width feels better adjusted and slightly tighter, which makes the shoe fit more smoothly without discomfort. Because of that, I could also feel a nice rebound with every step.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

These fit true to form. The material and stitching on the outer toe area seems to be stronger and sturdier than the past 1-2 pair of NB shoes I have purchased.
