    My first pair of New balance road running shoes and let me say it won’t be my last. I love the cushioned feel the fuel cell rebel v5 gives you every strike of the foot not only a good looking shoe but very comfortable and light weight and I would highly recommend the shoe if your planning on hitting the roads not matter what pace your trying to achieve.

    After almost 100km of running in the New Balance FuelCell Rebel (from v3 to v5), the experience has been consistently great. The shoe responds really well to my wide feet and feels comfortable for easy runs, tempo sessions, and interval training. Truly a solid all-rounder that supports all types of running workouts.

    At 51 years old and currently training hard — lifting 5x/week with regular runs mixed in — these have been a great pickup. They feel light, responsive and comfortable straight out of the box, with enough FuelCell pop to keep runs fun without beating up my legs. They’re especially good for easy to moderate runs on tired legs from strength work, and they disappear on foot during longer sessions. Not a max-cushion shoe, but that’s exactly why they work so well in a mixed training week. Easy to run in, easy to recover from — perfect for how I train right now.
