I’m gonna be honest my very first run with these left me hating them lol but I decided to give them a few more break-in miles and I’m very glad that I did. They have become my daily training super shoe! I use them as my main shoe for daily runs, long runs and some easy runs. I’ve even used them for speed sessions and they are great for all. They are a bit heavier than I like for a speed shoe (I usually use Saucony Pro 4 or Alphafly for speed work/MP pace runs, etc) so I personally wouldn’t use them for race day but I would absolutely have it as a daily “super trainer” in my rotation. If you are a newer runner I think they would be an awesome first carbon plated shoe for marathon and a lot less risky than other carbon plated options. They keep legs feeling fresher and help give u little extra speed but in a subtle way that you forget they’re plated. They’re also very comfy once broken in and offer lots of stability and cushion/support. A lot of my weekly miles are stroller runs pushing my son and they hold up incredibly well! When I first started running I loved having loads of cushion to protect my legs and feet but now that I’ve been at it for a while this feels like the perfect upgrade from the New Balance 1080 V14-15 while still maintaining the comfy feel. They’re also very nice looking and go with many of my running outfits which I love! Overall I would definitely recommend this shoe if you’re looking for something that can do it all!

I am not a marathon runner, or a runner at all. I just needed a quality shoe for daily wear. It is insanely lightweight. I really like them a lot. The size 14 fit perfect. True to size.

I have tried lots of brands and New Balance always delivers, but these go above and beyond. I have ankle problems and need support, I am looking forward to wearing these all day while I goto Disney!

Great every day trainer with a plate. Stable and comfortable for longer runs, good at easy pace through to 4 min/km, a bit sluggish for anything faster.

I've been using these shoes for almost a month now and I have been extremely happy with them. I have been running 2-3 miles daily and they have been one of the most comfortable shoes I've ran in. The color scheme is cool. Fit is true to size. I'm thinking of buying another pair because I like these shoes that much.

I love the NB FuelCell line. The Trainer is a great option for the longer/easy runs. It is a bit heavy, which I don't mind for training. Even though you can pick up the pace, these are not as responsive as its race counterpart - which can be expected. V2 and V3 are not as fun as V1, but still a solid option for training if you are looking for a comfortable and stable pair.
