Wish I had a pair of these shorts last year when I was training for the Chicago marathon. I also love how functional the shorts are with the different pockets. I don’t like carrying a lot of things with me during my run so these shorts are perfect for my important items like my keys and id card. I am very pleased with this product and will be purchasing more in the future.

The 5" length hit a sweet spot for casual running, long enough to feel practical, but never restrictive enough to slow down my stride or mess with my momentum getting up to pace on easy runs. No chafing at all, even on longer efforts, which says a lot given how much friction can build up over miles.
Performance in Texas Heat: Living in Texas means testing gear against serious humidity and heat, and these shorts held up impressively well. They stayed durable through repeated wear and sweat without breaking down or losing shape, a good sign for anyone training through brutal summer conditions.
Storage & Utility: The pocket setup deserves a mention: my phone fit perfectly, and there's clearly enough room to carry extra gear or fuel if you're extending into longer mileage. That kind of storage flexibility makes these shorts feel built for more than just short, easy runs.
