I chose this shoe after research on best shoes for wide feet since these are highly rated. I ordered an extra-wide shoe. However, these aren't even as wide as my standard-width Allbirds, and they dig into the outside of my foot when I walk. The shoes have delightfully pillowy soles, but that is also not great because I'm getting heel pain I never had before wearing these shoes. After a two-week break-in period, the shoes are slightly better, but it has been a very expensive lesson. I would never purchase these shoes again.

Don’t like the new cushioning

I prefer the old cushioning in the 1080. The extra extra width adds more width and length to the sneaker, making the shoe a 1/2 to full size bigger. When you run it causes heel pain. was disappointed. The original cushion was I thought my new go to for running. Bring the old back.

This version is not as supportive. I had to go home and change my shoes because my feet hurt so bad. This is my 5th year to buy these shoes & I am very disappointed in the changes they have made.
