    Extremely Disappointed!!

The insoles are not as soft or cushioned as the pair I purchased last year. Very hard and uncomfortable- extremely disappointed. Will try to return them.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the insoles did not provide the same softness and cushioning you experienced with your previous pair, and understand how disappointing that can be. Our Customer Care team would be happy to review your experience and explore options to help make this right.

    Best running shoes

Great running shoe, I wanted to experience it the reviews were accurate vs the running Hoka shoes. I agree with the reviews that these NB running shoes are by far the best. Very comfortable, the cushion is amazing and I wish all my shoes felt like this.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

If you're a 1080v14 lover and expect a similar feel/overall shoe, do NOT buy these shoes. They are not comparable at all. These feel way more narrow and the overall fit is very different. If you have no experience with previous versions, this is a good overall shoe. Soft, light and responsive. I never wear wides, but I think I would need them in this shoe.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I live and swear by running in new balance shoes, and I have been running in the 1080s since the v8s. My favorite version was the v12s and I should have bought extra pairs to keep on hand. I got these new ones hoping the foam would be soft and comfortable and they unfortunately are not even close to the same comfort my other shoes have been. I assumed the foam just needed broken in, but they still are not nearly as comfortable as the other shoes, nor does it help my knee pain like the other versions. I really wish they would bring back the fresh foam from the past versions, it felt like running on a cloud and helped with joint pain, I cant say the same for these new ones sadly. It just makes me sad because I am a ride or die new balance wearer, but unfortunately these new versions just don't do it the same for me as the older ones.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear the 1080v15 did not provide the soft cushioning, comfort, and joint support you've come to rely on after years of running in the 1080 series. We understand how disappointing it is when a longtime favorite feels significantly different, and we truly appreciate your loyalty and thoughtful feedback as it helps us better understand the needs of dedicated runners like you.

Recent 1080 v no longer resemble the shoe it was

The fresh foam 1080 has gotten worse over successive versions. The toebox become so narrow that it doesn’t resemble the original shoe. In addition, the cushy feel of walking on air is also gone with the most recent versions. I kept wondering why my toes hurt after going on long walks and I have new blisters forming. So I compared this shoe with one of the old ones I kept for walking on the beach and the toe box is much wider with my old shoe. I won’t be buying these shoes any longer and I’ve already found one at another company to replace them. I bought these fresh foam 1080 shoes for probably 10 years.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for sharing your longtime experience with the 1080. We’re sorry to hear the recent versions did not provide the roomy toe box and soft cushioning you've enjoyed over the past 10 years, resulting in discomfort and blisters during your walks. We understand how disappointing it is when a trusted favorite no longer meets your needs, and we appreciate your detailed feedback as it helps us better understand the expectations of longtime 1080 wearers.

    Take 2

So this is pair number two. I average at least 10,000 steps a day in my job. These shoes are the best NB yet. I've been wearing NB in one form or another for many years. These are up there with the deleted 1260s

Yes, I love the 1080 but wish you made grey all year. The shoes feel like walking on pillows and help me to not have foot pain, back pain or any pain at all. I have been wearing the1080 for years and I keep coming back.

Have taken these on three 10km runs now and they've been excellent, they are cushioned but stable. Great for wide feet
