Not as cushioned as my previous NB shoes

I'm a plus size person with a bad ankle so supportive footwear is incredibly important to me. I had been using the 605 V5 New Balances for 3 years or so, and they are still comfortable but definitely worn out in various spots so I decided it was time to mix it up. I regret not just re-buying the same pair. I primarily use these on the elliptical throughout the week and they just do not provide enough support. My bad foot goes all pins-and-needles and it's not long before the other follows. I tried to power through a couple weeks to break them but I can't anymore, it's getting in the way of my workouts. They're cute and I still wear them out, but I'd probably bring the 605's if I knew it was going to be a walk intensive outing. If you're on the heavier set side or just need more support in general, I'd think twice about buying these.

The tongue keeps sliding

The tongue does not stay up and keeps sliding down while I'm walking, which makes the sneakers uncomfortable to wear. I've owned this same model before and never had this issue, so it seems that something has changed in the design.
