I usually wear 10 5 in New Balance but golf shoes I bought in that size pinch my toes & haven't loosened up in three years I've had them.

We’re sorry to hear that the golf shoes did not fit comfortably and continued to pinch your toes over time. We understand how frustrating it is when a size that usually works for you never loosens up or improves with wear. Please reach out to our Customer Care team so they can review your experience and help with possible next steps or fit options.

    Finally a comfortable golf shoe

I have been wearing 9.5 medium for years. Recently, I've noticed that this size, which used to be comfortable, is now pinching in both length and width. As I have now taken up golf, the tight shoes were a problem. Enter the NB Contend 2. I needed a shoe with a low collar due to an old ankle injury. I took a chance on these and sized up both length and width to 10 wide. Once they arrived, I took them to the range. A revelation! For once, my feet did not hurt before, during, or after playing. I am now looking for them in different colors. Good job, NB.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

These golf shoes are very comfortable, especially for walking the course. I have a narrow ankle and I like a slightly wider toe box and these shoes do it for me.

These were not waterproof. I had a pair a few years ago that were and got these for this season. Noticed the few few times on the course. Feet SOAKED. Contacted New Balance and they did refund my money and I got gym shoes instead. The fit was comfortable, but we play early with dew on the ground and wet socks for 4 hours is no fun.

I'm about to give this review 0 stars as while I've been writing this in the email form, it's deleted on me THREE times. But as far as the shoe goes... reviews said it runs narrow so I ordered a wide (note: I'm always an 11 regular). I'm glad I did because it feels good -- maybe a smidge too wide but I'd rather have that than tight/irritating. But it is weird that New Balance calls standard shoes a "B width" when B width in all of history has meant narrow. Likewise, they call wide shoes "D width" when D in all of history means regular/normal. Perhaps New Balance should figure their sizing out to not confuse people -- Standard should be D & Wide should be W or EE.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

wish the whole show as waterproof and not just the layer around the bottom. I got mud on them 1x spring golfing and the stain will not rinse out so they not have mud stains in the fabric.

Not Very Comfortable for Wide Feet, But Waterproof

I bought these golf shoes because I needed something waterproof for early morning rounds and wet conditions. They are true to size in terms of length, but the fit is quite narrow, which can be uncomfortable for wider feet like mine. The shoes felt hard and stiff at first, likely due to the waterproof material, but they do perform well in keeping water out. My feet stayed completely dry even when walking through wet grass. To make them more wearable, I used heat to stretch the shoes slightly, which helped both with the narrow fit and the stiffness. That made a noticeable difference in comfort. Overall, these shoes are great for waterproof protection and fit true to size, but if you have wide feet, be prepared to do some breaking in or stretching.

No, I do not recommend this product.
