Nike Ja2 "Koolaid" Unisex Basketball Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, these shoes are a literal work of art! The attention to detail, different textures, and vibrant colors work so well together to create a visual feast. They seem to fit true to size and are comfortable right out of the box, but definitely feel even better once they are broke in. I have worn them strictly on an indoor court, so I can’t say how well they clean up if worn outside, but they have held up very well even after consistent use. Between the comfort, the grip, and the overall design, I genuinely feel like these shoes help improve my performance on the court.

They supported my ankles so well, are extremely comfortable, and have amazing grip on the court. I was wanting a shoe that stood out but had a similar fit to what I was used to and these nailed it!!

The design is very unique and bright..just the right amount of style without. The fabric was very durable and breathable. I liked that they were so comfy the most…I wouldn’t change a thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a professional athlete, but I enjoy sports and have played just about everything since I was a kid. Even as an adult I still try to partake in whatever I can whenever I can including basketball at my local gym. Right out of the box I've enjoyed the Ja 2 x Kool-Aid Basketball Shoes. Not only do they have a flashy dose of nostalgia (which I'm all about) but they are lightweight and comfortable. The grip is great and the material seems very durable and are true to size. As far as the aesthetic goes, the bright colors pops (mine are the fruit punch reddish-pink) and having the Kool-Aid man busting through the front of the tongue with the words oh yeah on the back of the tongue is fantastic. There are also interesting little clear texture marks around the heel giving it almost a wet splash look. While I'm not sure these shoes make me a better athlete, they feel great, the perform great and they look fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for an amazing basketball shoe that is not only flashy but that also aids in gameplay, you've found what I would consider the "perfect" pair of sneakers! What I notice first about the Ja 2 x Kool-Aid Basketball Shoes from Nike is that they are some of the coolest, funnest, most flashy and fashionable sports shoes I've ever seen - the design is 1000% fabulous and completely on pointe (going so far as to even say "Oh" on the inside of one tongue and "Yeah" on the other as the Kool-Aid man would say, and to have lime green laces as an option) and I (and those I play with) cannot get enough of them! More importantly, though, once you move past how amazing they look, these shoes PERFORM! They are very light, very comfortable (rather immediately, surprisingly), and super breathable. My ankles and heels feel supported enough in these shoes, which is really important to me when I'm playing basketball. They also allow me to make dynamic and even explosive movements while playing (ie, the shoes feel very responsive to my foot movements and keep me stable through these movements). They are fantastic on both street and indoor court surfaces. I've also thoroughly enjoyed wearing them out and about as my "daily shoe" on occasion - they're just too fabulous to not want to wear more and show off! I would say that my only little note is to get 0.5 - 1.0 size larger than you normally do, as they do seem to run a tad small (I got half a size up and was happy and had no issue "breaking them in"). Overall, these are literally my favorite basketball shoes ever and some of the best shoes I've had period. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone that is looking for (a) fabulous basketball shoes that look absolutely spectacular and that transition well to being off the court and/or (b) amazing shoes period. Highly, highly recommend!

Nike and the Kool Aid man, who would of ever thought. Let me jump right in and say not only are these shoes cool, stylish, different and retro... They are comfortable. The perfect shoe for everyday wear or on the court. I love the uniqueness of these shoes and all of their hidden details. You'll find the classic catch phrase "Ohhh Yeah" embroidered on the side and 12:AM on the heels, which refers to the collaboration with Ja Morant's late-night training sessions. The glow in the dark outsoles are awesome for night training. The airzoom cushioning really makes the shoe. For the price of these shoes, you are getting style and premium comfort. I can wear these shoes for hours, they fit like a glove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I wanted to think the stellar product testing panel for giving me the opportunity to try the Ja 2 x Kool-Aid Basketball Shoes, in exchange for my honest feedback. The fit and feel of this shoe were nice and snug. The arch support was nice. However having a slightly wider foot near the toes, it did push my toes together a little uncomfortably. It took a little longer to get used to the new shoe feel but I was absolutely able to do that. The design of the shoes is very cool. This isn’t something I would pick out for myself. But after receiving such great reviews from people at work, I’ll definitely be wearing them until I cannot any longer! You can tell that the Ja 2 x Kool-Aid Basketball Shoes are made of quality materials. I have a feeling the Ja 2 x Kool-Aid Basketball Shoes will hold up very well over time. When tightening the shoes down for more athletic performance, I feel more support for sure. What I like most about these shoes is the visual is awesome. Like I said before this isn’t anything I would pick out for myself. However, after the feedback I got from those around me, the Ja 2 x Kool-Aid Basketball Shoes is a crowd stunner! The only thing I would change is to have the Ja 2 x Kool-Aid Basketball Shoes be available in a wider version. Which in my case would help me adjust to the shoes a little faster.
