Nike Kids' Grade School Blazer Low '77 Shoes, Sneakers

I enjoy Nike shoes. I was waiting for a different style other than the high tops then these came out. I bought immediately.

Granddaughter loves these shoes. Exactly what she wanted.

They are extremely comfortable and perfect for any casual setting. The construction is great and they have suede at key points to help with durability. Even after wearing them several times, they still look brand new. Another key point: some shoes are difficult for kids to put on by themselves and can take several minutes, these are not those! My daughter is able to put them on easily by herself in a quick and efficient manner. If you’re looking for some great casual shoes, you’ve come to the right place. This is a classic style that she will be able to use as long as they fit her!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Blazer Low ‘77 is a commonly overlooked but top quality product. The clean and simple silhouette means you can wear the pair to work, but also match it with a fit for the night out. The design of the shoe is comfortable enough to wear all day to make that transition from work to play with much ease and no fuss. My only wish is that this model came in a platform version. As a short girl any height advantage is desired and welcome. That being said, after being provided the Blazer Low ‘77s I can say this is a shoe that is rapidly becoming a daily wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Nike Blazer Low '77 for my son who is 9 yrs old, 4’11” in height and weighs 95 lbs. He’s really into sneakers and is building a collection so these were perfect to add into his rotation. At first glance, he really loved the blend of neutral colors. The white upper, grey suede on a portion of the toe box and black Nike swoosh really came together well and formed the perfect sneaker that can be worn with just about anything! My son felt that the sneakers were really comfortable and stated that they felt “soft” on his feet with every step that he took. He also mentioned that after wearing them all day at school, his feet didn’t feel sore or tired like they do with some of his other shoes. His favorite part of the design is the retro looking, oversized “NIKE” on the back heel. This really stood out to him along with the thick midsole. If there was one thing that he could change, it would be the tongue. The tongue tends to fall to the side, regardless if they are tied or not. This did make him a bit irritable as he has sensory issues with things rubbing against or not lying appropriately on his skin. Overall, this is an excellent sneaker that we would recommend to anyone considering purchasing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iconic heritage silhouette makes for a comfortable wear all throughout the day. It’s a lightweight pair made from flexible but durable leather upper materials. The suede overlays around the toe add a nice touch to the classic white and black color scheme. I personally love the gum rubber outsole. I don’t play basketball, but I’d imagine these would provide a nice, grippy traction to the court. Even for my wide and flat feet, these run true to size. I’m a women’s size 7, and I was able to fit a gradeschool size 5.5Y easily. The one thing I would potentially change is the material choice for the tongue. I wish it was slightly more substantial, as in the thickness. Currently, it’s thin and flimsy. Perhaps I would replace it with the foam that I’ve seen in other pairs of Nike Blazers. Overall, I love the versatility in styling this pair. I can wear them to the office for a business casual look. I can also wear them to the gym because they offer a flat stance, perfect for squatting. Although they look great fresh out the box, this is the type of shoe that continues to look better and better through continuous wear.

Fit/Comfort- These run true to size and are pretty comfortable for a flat sole shoe. Quality- My 9yo wore this pair to school and plays pretty hard. He had a pair of Blazers a few years ago and wore them to skateboard. They definitely hold up. The sole and toe are very sturdy. Style- Blazers are always a clean classic shoe that look good styled up or down. This colorway especially has a sleek modern feel. Overall, I couldn't be happier with these shoes. They are a perfect fit for my 9yo to wear skateboarding or to school.
