Nike Kids' Grade School Giannis Immortality 4 Basketball Shoes

My kid loves them. She says they're very comfortable. Reasonably priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son told me he wanted black shoes with the swoop (Nike logo) to be cool in fourth grade! The Giannis Immortality 4 black basketball shoe meets that criteria, he told me immediately, “five stars, this is awesome!” Not only is it comfortable, but as a parent I can feel the sturdy heel, a great amount of cushioning on the bottom and can tell this will be a durable shoe. I love the design on the top of shoe with a bonus of it being breathable which is another huge plus for an athletic kid. The sole and heel are sturdy and well made, giving me hope that this shoe will last. I love that the top is still made of washable material, perfect for being cleaned after some rigorous court play. My son wears a size five and has a wider foot and a 5Y fit him perfectly. The design is cool and sleek, winning the hearts of all elementary school kids who want to look grown up! My kid is rough on his shoes but I’m very happy with this shoe and feel hopeful that this will be a solid choice I can keep buying as my kid grows.

There were no complaints about discomfort or rubbing. The design was sleek and stylish. The various fabric and the textures created a really cool look that is unique and attractive. It could honestly be the perfect all-around sports shoe. It is relatively light weight, and seems to take pressure off of bones and joints when running and jumping. I don’t think there’s anything I would change about this shoe, besides making certain that the fabric is breathable. The shoes seem durable, and we’re confident it should withstand the everyday wear and tear of a very active kiddo.

Whether at the playground, climbing, or running around at school…he said they were very comfortable and he had great traction when climbing the jungle gym. The design is great, I love that they’re black and easily hide dirt- but are also have a fun design that shows up depending on different lighting. A functional and stylish shoe that performs but also looks great!

He loves the color and the way it looks and feels while wearing them. The fabric is nice and breathable on his feet while he's wearing them and playing sports. They keep his feet cool and don't get smelly and sweaty. He really likes the padding and cushioning in these shoes when he's on the court running and jumping. The soles of these sneakers grip the hard floor of the court so he says it makes his foot work more precise with less slipping and sliding around. He also likes that the laces are flat so they don't come undone while he's playing. He's gotten a lot of compliments on these shoes when he wears them and loves being the kid with the cool shoes. Hopefully he says they'll add some more color combinations to these because he really likes the bright colored sneakers.

Run very true to size and mold to his foot like they're a custom pair. The loop on the back makes it easy for little ones to put on themselves and the sturdy back makes them just as easy to remove. Very breathable and lightweight, which is an absolute must on the court. Love the different textures of traction on the bottom of the sole. Helps so much with quick stops, cuts and sprinting. The outsole is more firm that any athletic shoe we've worn before, which is great for keeping tender ankles in place to avoid injury. These seem to be the type of sneaker that just get better the more you break them in. Very dependable athletic shoe that will be great for everyday wear, school, play and sports. Highly recommend!

They mold perfectly to my sons feet and keep him locked in, stable and ready to play. Love the loop on the back, which makes them easy for my 6 year old to get on by himself. They are very lightweight and breathable while offering the perfect amount of cushiony support. The outsole is firm and offers grippy traction and stability, which is great for court time and everyday wear. Very stylish and comfortable. These are so well made, they’ll last a very long time.
