When Did Everyday Trainers Become High-Rises?

I’ve been buying the Winflo for years because it used to be the reliable, straightforward, no-nonsense daily shoe in Nike’s lineup. You could run in it, walk around all day, or wear it into a casual workplace without looking like you were wearing orthopedic platform wedges. Then the Winflo 12 showed up, and Nike went completely off the deep end with the maximalist trend. Why does every single shoe have to become a towering skyscraper of foam now? The heel on these is over 40mm thick. It’s absurd. Standing in front of people or walking into a room wearing these feels ridiculous—the giant wedge of ribbed foam, the protruding tail sticking out the back, and the massive tech branding stamped all over the midsole draw way too much attention to your feet. It looks busy, aggressive, and visually bloated. It doesn’t even feel good to stand in. Instead of feeling grounded, you’re stuck balancing on a tall, squishy block of foam that practically pitches your weight forward. More foam does not mean a better shoe. If you want a normal, sleek, low-profile trainer that actually blends in with an everyday outfit, pass on these. Nike took a simple, balanced shoe and turned it into another HOKA clone. Bring back normal stack heights.

It was comfortable straight out of the box. I have had Many knee surgeries. So the sneakers I wear have to be comfortable. Without a break in period. These check off every box for me. I definitely recommend

Best NIKE shoe- Basketball Officials

I am a basketball official and I swore on the Vernon Plus, which I’ve used and LOVED, however, these shoes cost almost half the price with the same amount of comfort and cushion!! These shoes are by far the most comfortable shoe from NIKE that I’ve ever purchased. I love them so much I bought my wife and pair too. She loves them. They have a lot of cushion for your entire foot, especially the heel. If you buy these shoes, you’ll be very satisfied!

Comfortable and worth the money!

Comfort for hours and I literally feel like I’m walking on clouds. The heel support is awesome and i love the support the shoe gives as I stand and walk a lot at work and at games. Definitely worth the money. Looking to purchase another pair soon.

Soles make you lean forward

Great for zone 2 walks. Shoes kind of make you lean forward when standing. They are comfortable but kind of annoying to wear when not walking or running
