It’s water repellent and boasts sticky, rugged traction and a storm-tread outsole for downpours, first, but with a cozy fleece feel on the inside, thanks to an unbeatable duo of Heathered lining and structured insulation inspired by Nike's Aeroloft technology.

Stop The Rain - The upper is inspired by Aeroloft technology that helps keep warmth insulated without overheating. It’s coated with a PFC-free treatment to help keep you dry. A gusseted tongue adds another layer of defense against the elements
Rain-Ready Traction - The Storm-Tread outsole provides traction in wet weather. It features textures inspired by winter tires. Micro grooves grab the road, while multidirectional shapes help shed water for direct contact with the pavement

Warm, Dry, and Comfortable

I bought these for a holiday trip to Northern Europe that involved walking 20k+ steps per day in rainy, 40° weather and they delivered. The insole was comfortable for very long walks, the micro fleece lining kept my feet warm (but not hot), and the water repellent finish kept my feet dry even in downpours that lasted for hours. Plus, the outsole offered exceptional grip on every surface, from off road trails to wet cobblestone.

30 degrees today no problem! Put under the sink to see if waterproofing,Looks good to me! Well done Nike!!! Got a 10.5 feels good thought it was a little big but I’m not running in these all year around so they should last for awhile.

Easy to clean, sleek design, great traction, and really comfortable. I get that they make noise, but I wear them for outdoor running, so this does not bother me. They are warm and cozy, almost like a slipper. I wish they had more colors in them.

Nike Winflo 9 Shield. Well done Nike!

These are fine shoes. Remember, they're not GorTex but they do provide some decent protection. They are as comfortable as my Pegasus (shocking, I know) but I'm not going long distances in these or heavy wear. These run true to size for sure and, in my opinion, run a half-size bigger than the regular Winflo (and run bigger than Pegasus 38 Shield).
