I work alot outside so I love the gortex shoes. If they had a little more gortex material around the ankle so water couldn't get inside the shoe so easily they would be perfect. The cushion is good, ( obviously the more the better), all in all comfortable.

Nike + Gore-Tex Equals WINNER

I work with a local high school football team as a volunteer as equipment manager. We use Nike and all the coaches and myself were purchased these by the team. They are extremely comfortable shoes and held up very well. I have always preferred Nike comfort because I have a larger foot and they have always fit me better than any other shoe brand. These are a very stylish look even in the white and are easier than most white shoes to clean, which is why personally do not purchase white shoes generally. They help keep your feet dry and comfortable over long periods of time wearing them. They have almost like a track look grip on the sole which work extremely well with traction on multiple surfaces. Very solid shoe that I would recommend.

Excellent winter runner

I live where it is cold and snowy so a waterproof running shoe seemed a must. Great heal padding while still responsive - not too bouncy for me but plenty of cushion. The waterproofing works very well, never get wet feet. Also has some extra mesh padding which keeps feet warm in subzero running. Really like the additional reflective tape all around as weekday runs are always in the winter dark. I was skeptical about the new sole grip but it works really well - might be a bit softer rubber to keep grip on cold temperatures, but so far wearing well. I don’t think these shoes are good for summer - too hot. I bought another pair of standard Pegasus 41s for summer.

Been running through autumn and winter in these now and they are awesome! I always run on grass / hills and these grip great. Unless you go ankle deep in water, they keep out the wet too. The main thing for me is how easy they make off road running feel in comparison to Inov8 and even the Pegasus Trail. Seems like all those tiny studs on the sole unit grip in without getting clogged up with mud. Hopefully Nike will continue to produce this shoe in the future. Have to size up 0.5 for the GTX
