    Amazing Cushioning, Unfortunate Collar Fit

    The Pegasus 42 has the most responsive cushioning I’ve ever experienced in a running shoe. The ride feels soft without being mushy, and there’s a great balance between comfort and energy return. Running in these shoes was incredible, and the cushioning is a noticeable improvement over previous Pegasus models. Unfortunately, I had to return them because of the ankle collar. The padding and collar design rubbed against the outside of both of my ankles (the lateral malleolus). I felt the pressure as soon as I put the shoes on, even before tying the laces, and after a single 5K run I developed a blister on my left ankle. For my foot and ankle shape, the collar sits too high and too snug. If Nike redesigns the ankle collar in a future version while keeping the same incredible cushioning, this would easily be a 5-star shoe for me. If the collar fits your anatomy, I think you’ll really enjoy the ride.

    Awesome sneaks. I bought them for work (I spend 12 hrs on my feet on cement floors). They are super comfortable. Soles are squishy but not too squishy. Perfect amount of stability. They are light weight and the mesh upper lets my feet breathe. I had the Pegasus 41’s and was super disappointed when Nike stopped making them. The 42’s are even better. I work in a manufacturing plant. so to all the folks needing comfortable shoes for work, these are fantastic.

    Exceptional, especially with the newly designed toe space. Tried the Hoka Clinton as a comparison to the Nike Pegagus that I have always worn and found that their arch support is inferior the Pegasus.

    Terrific design, great fit with excellent bounce and all round support to the ankles. Colours are good too and also the usual comprehensive size choice. Pegasus is always on the mark. Very good value for money.

    Poorly made and hurt my feet the moment I put them on. I am small in statue but found the heels to not be shock absorbing as advertised.
