I really liked the shoe but didn’t get a chance to wear them because they run big and didn’t have the size needed when I went to exchange them so I ended up getting a different shoe.

I bought these shoes for everyday instead of for running and they exceeded my expectations! They're very comfortable and hold up well. Would highly recommend as a daily wearers.

Vomero or Bust

The foam in the Vomero Plus is great and has a really nice combination of cushioning and energy return. Unfortunately, for what I bought it for—recovery and long-run days—the overall weight of the shoe is hard to overlook.
As the miles add up, I notice the weight more and more, and it starts to create some unwanted stress in my overturn. The foam is impressive, but for me, it doesn’t make up for how heavy the shoe feels later in a run.
The tongue is also on the thicker side, although it stays nicely in place and hasn’t caused any issues. I haven’t had any problems with hotspots from the lacing system either, but I do find that the tension-cord-style eyelets allow the lockdown to gradually loosen and expand during a run.
One thing I really like is the rear heel loop. It’s a small feature, but one that a lot of brands seem to have done away with, and I appreciate having it.
These are just my observations after putting some miles on them. I really like the foam and the ride, but I think I’d enjoy them more if they were lighter. I’ll be trying a lighter shoe in the near future.

Cushioning last less than six months!

Bottom cushioning only lasted four months! Bought these in May. The large ZoomX foam was super comfortable. Got a lot of compliments. But now unfortunately it feels like I'm walking on rocks!

Got injured by these right before the run

Previously I wouldn't invest much in more expensive running shoes and go with Nike Downshifter 12 and 13, but since I'm getting ready for my first Tough Mudder run and a half-marathon a month after, I thought I'd look into and buy a bit more expensive shoes. Today was my first time properly running in these shoes, part of the reason is that I took them out on a walk a few times, and while I loved the foam platform, the front of my foot would constantly go numb. I tried adjusting the laces and took them out on a walk again, without finding the true comfort. All the while I was still using my Downshifters 13 for training that unfortunately I killed and had to finally switch over to these new shoes for my running training (3 days before my Tough Mudder run). But after about 2miles I started feeling burning on the inner side of my right foot, then left – there was this constant friction that I tried to get past and continue training. I couldn't handle it for more than another 0.75 miles, and that's when I realized the mesh on the inside of the shoe (or whatever that material is, probably used for breathability of the foot) gave me blisters on both feet on the inner side. The front of the shoe is more open than the back – the back fits fine, the front leaves the foot loose – I ordered a regular width shoe. I wonder if that could be the reason why. EIther way it left me pretty disappointed, I spent extra $100 hoping to get better running shoes, not get injured right before an important run. Returning back to my usual cheaper more reliable models.
