I’m pretty picky for all my clothes and I love these shorts. They don’t stretch like an elastic band but they do stretch. They are made very light for summer weather and fit a bit loose but my skinny legs don’t get lost in them. I feel they are well made and the colors are very nice.

7in inseam, 2 side pockets, and one zippered side pocket by the hip has so far been the best design for any shorts for me. PLEASE NIKE, keep making this style in different colors and do not discount minute this design. I’m 170lbs, 6 ft, with an athletic build and medium fits the best. The pockets are big enough for your phone and if you’re working out, the side pocket with your phone in it makes it not as bothersome for a majority of workouts. I use these shorts for the gym, running, and going out in.

Best shorts I’ve ever owned. Up there with some other popular hiking brands I’ve bought. I’m usually not a fan of Nike shorts but they hit a home run with these. I basically use them to dress up, workout, and even sleep in these bad boys. I’d buy every color if I could

Firstly I want to start off by saying that I have selected that this product “runs small” but that is something I want in a Running/exercise short. The material is stretchy and light which really helps with range of movement when running. I don’t feel like I am being weighed down, even when wet, and as soon as I put them on I was surprised how well they protected my inner thighs from rubbing together and I can only put that down to the quality of the material. Shorts can often hold moisture after a workout but I didn’t find this to be the case with these shorts. Due to the quality and comfort of the shorts, I also wear them when running daily errands and walking the dog. They look fantastic and go with pretty much anything. One feature I always appreciate on bottom wear is zips as I feel more protected when I have things in my pockets but on this occasion I actually don’t think zips are needed as the pockets are deep enough to feel like my items are secure. The shape and fit of the shorts also helps me feel the items in my pockets against my legs, giving me peace of mind. This is a huge positive for me. I don’t run long distances too often, but for anyone who does, I can imagine that an inner pocket or two could have been beneficial in these shorts to hold a refreshment. The stitching is fantastic along with the cable ties on the waist line. Shorts can often change colours after a few washes but this is not the case with these shorts, another strong attribute of the shorts. I love Nike products and like to show off that I am wearing a Nike product, but that is hard to do with these shorts as the black swoosh is barely visible against the black short. The shorts are durable, comfortable, light, wash well, breathable, fashionable and versatile. I couldn’t recommend them enough, my favourite short to exercise in that I have tried so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment I tried on these 7" Nike shorts they surprised me with their comfort and feel, the material is lightweight with more than enough stretch to accommodate my running stride. Whilst out running my thighs generally rub together causing irritation so the lack of an inner lining was initially concerning, yet due to the length of the shorts and the quality of the material used my legs were sufficiently protected, even during a vigorous 9-mile session on the track. After that particular track session the shorts were holding a slight amount of moisture but were not uncomfortable or gathering up by any means. The lack of inner lining also resulted in more airflow and created a cooler more breathable running experience. The fabric feels high quality with a secure fit, no loose threads or seams; I experienced no friction rubbing above the knees or on the lower back by the waistband, even with car keys in the back pocket. There are three pockets in total, two front and one back zipped pocket. They are securely made using lightweight, very finely perforated net material, the front pockets are deep enough for daily use although I would be worried about losing items if running above a steady pace. Thankfully the zipped back pocket keeps valuables such as car keys or even a phone safe. Due to the lightweight nature of the shorts, items like keys bounce around in the pockets and if you were to carry a few heavier items the shorts would be pulled downwards so you have to make sure the drawcord is securely tied. The drawcord is a sturdy material without feeling bulky, being able to switch and tie it on the inside of the shorts was a nice feature which I took advantage of. The waistband feels snug and as mentioned previously causes no irritation due to the material used and the lightweight nature of the shorts. The style and length of the shorts was impressive and modern; I not only felt comfortable walking around town and taking my Labrador puppy out for walks but also found the pockets sufficient enough for my needs, making this a truly versatile pair of shorts. From a running perspective it would have been nice to see some internal or external pockets to safely secure a few gels; even two elasticated bands could hold a gel quite nicely to the outside of the waistband which would mean you wouldn't have to mess with the shorts once they were tied and could easily pull a gel when needed. The location of the zipped pocket at the back does mean that in order to sit-down you do have to remove items from the back pocket. The shorts themselves could be made with perforated sections to increase the breathability, which would in turn reduce the weight even further, although I'm not sure how this would affect the structure. Finally, some more appreciation to the Nike logo would have been nice to see, as a black logo on black shorts whilst understated does make it hardly noticeable. Overall, I find these to be a great pair of stylish Nike shorts, not only for use on the track and the roads but also in everyday life. The lightweight approach whilst maintaining a sturdy yet stylish construct really makes these shorts a winner.
