Really impressive ball control and quality of materials.

We have been using Nike Academy level boots for my son for a few years as the Nike range fits him best. We have decided to take a step up in the quality of the boots and these really are impressive. He's had a couple of training sessions and one game and quite honestly, he is overjoyed with the boots. He is a baller, loving close up and technical skills and these boots are providing a distinct improvement in ball control. A joy to watch. he plays left wing and is also loving the greater control when shooting and taking corners. The price point means they should be good, and fortunately they are. We have discovered the Elite range is comes up smaller than the Academy range, so we ended up a full size large in these than we expected (started with 5, then 5.5 and settled on the 6). The higher quality of materials is evident in the snug fit, tacky feeling of the "control features" on the front of the boots, how the main material of the boot just becomes the smaller elastic area under the laces (whereas in the lower range boots there is a seam at the end of the main boot's material and then that is stitched to the wider elastic section). My son even thinks he can tell that the stud design is providing him more grip. All in all, we couldn't be happier and hope to keep finding these on sale near the end of each season.

For years I have struggled finding boots that would fit my feet. I have a wider foot along with a higher arch. This cleat fits both of these profiles.

Instant comfort. feel great and hug the foot great without being uncomfortable. I went a half size down from a pair of puma cleats i was wearing before, so I would put that into consideration

I have very narrow feet so had to try on a few sizes and play with the lacing to get the fit right, as they were rather roomy from mid foot to toe. All managed to be fixed…and I’m so glad that I managed it. No break in time required, these boots are hands down the best control I’ve ever felt with a boot. The grip knit is a game changer for dribbling, crossing and shooting. Massively upped my game. If you’re looking for that next level in your game these are 100% worth the money.

Really good cleat! They felt comfortable as soon as I put my foot in. They may run just a tad bit wide but other than that not bad at all definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for cleat that gives you responsiveness on cuts as well as ball control. Look no further! I have been playing indoor in these bad boys for about a month now and I love how responsive my ball control is with the ultra sticky grip that covers the cleat. They are sleek, lightweight, and come in a great shade of textured black. The cleat fits true to size and is the perfect cleat for the masses. Check the grippy texture in the photo, it is a game changer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the first pair of flyknit mercurials I was a little hesitant on this cleat. The mercurials were amazingly light a quick but lacked a connection with the ball, but the Phantom changes all of that. The new knit materials as an extremely tacky coating combined with the 3D texture for a great touch on the ball. At first I was surprised how grippy they were but quickly adjusted after a few minutes. They feel like they rip the ball out of the air and make the first touch so easy. Out of the box they the toe are was a little stiff but after 5 minutes they wore in nicely. There is basically no break in time, but if trying in store you may initially think they are stiff. Traction is great and I enjoyed the 360 cleat configuration in the forefoot. It’s been early winter and a damp, but in these there was no slipping. Heel cup has a great amount of hold and a bunch of cushion making these the most comfortable soccer cleat I own. Sole plate in the all black color way looks cheap, but performs well. They are perfectly stiff and rebound well for that “fast” feeling. Overall, the old mercurials are in the closet and the phantom have taken their place as my favorite Nike cleat.
