Product Details

The Nike React Metcon Turbo puts stability and responsiveness in a lightweight package to help you hit your next PR. From the cushioning underfoot to the rope wrap at the instep, every detail is pared down to minimize weight while maximizing function and durability. Lighter, stronger materials are built for speed and strength.

  • Cushioned for Speed - Nike React foam is lightweight and responsive for quick, repetitive movements like box jumps and double unders. You get spring when you take off and cushioning when you land

  • Strong Yet Breathable - The instep of the upper is thin and lightweight but still tough to handle abrasion. Mesh on the outer part keeps it breathable during high-heat sets

  • Less Is More - The features you love like the rope wrap and handstand heel clip are redesigned and pared down to shave off ounces. They give you the same function and durability minus the weight

  • The wide, flat heel helps keep you stable

  • The grippy rubber sole is flexible to let your foot bend comfortably

    Great for Workouts

I originally bought the Metcons but did not like them. They were too stiff. These shoes have the right balance between stability and flexibility. I feel great lifting with these on and I can easily jump on the treadmill and comfortably run with these. I bought two pairs and I wish I could buy more. I hope these are not being discontinued... The only thing I would probably change would be breathability. I do feel that my feet get slightly sweatier in these than usual. Fix that and you have the perfect shoe!

Best Metcon version yet. I’ve been using the Metcon version of Nike for sometime and have tried various iterations of it. These are the best yet. Firm footing, but flexible, it’s light and very comfortable. Plus it has this sick all black look. I think I look faster and more powerful in the gym. All kidding aside, it looks sweet.

Impressive shoe, lots of cool engineering. Never thought they would have the stability of my NoBulls during heavy farmer walks. They look super cool and really shine during agility. Nice job Nike.

Had a few Metcons over the years. Recenly tried a Super Rep and that didn't work out, but found these Metcon Turbos instead and have been very happy. Just wish it came in some more interesting colors and had less branding. Like everybody knows it's a Metcon, we don't need to be told with a giant label. Would be very interested in a doing a custom design and adding the toggle laces like my Infinity Run.

This is a GREAT upgraded lighter version of the Metcon and LIGHTYEARS ahead of the first Metcon React. I've done most of my training over the past several months in the Metcon 6 (The Metcon 6 being my favorite Metcon yet) and I have to say the React Turbo doesn't disappoint. It really shines in high impact activities like running and plyometrics, and is still stable enough for the heavy lifts. Being said, overall I will say the Metcob 6 is a bit more stable for heavy squats and olympic weightlifting because the React foam is designed to be dense yet responsively springy for jumping; so you'll feel that beneath your feet between you and the ground, whereas the Metcon 6 foam compresses immediately due to being more minimal. But then the Metcon 6 is not as great for running (even though its the best regular Metcon built for running so far). So it comes down to personal preference. Some people will like the tech and design that goes into the upper and the different materials, and some will like the simplicity of the design of the slightly heavier Metcon 6 like myself. This is definitely a shoe worth trying out. I made a review of this (and the Metcon 6) on my Youtube channel.

This is my favorite metcon. Light, breathable and stable. Really comfortable materials that have held up so far.
