Nike Men's Trail Run Element 1/2 Zip Long Sleeve Top

Went for a run on Sunday good fit and kept me warm also looked brilliant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shirt. Fits good and feels good too. If i get too hot i can use the zipper on the front which zips to your chest. It has one pocket that i didn't even see cuz it's kind of hidden. It has the holes to put your thumbs and has a hole so you can look at your watch . Nike really thought of everything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the graphic along the shoulder and sleeves - black, white, and grey makes it stand out a little while still matching pretty much every other piece of workout apparel I own. The extra long sleeves with a thumb hole are perfect for crisp mornings and the zippered pocket is definitely useful for keys….I prefer this to a pocket on shorts/pants while working out. However, for a shirt that I won’t tuck in, I’d prefer not to have the split hem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Design and Features: At first glance the design of this shirt looks very simplistic but the camo pattern on the sleeves gives it a nice touch of character. The branding on the bottom left of the shirt is a little larger than I'd like but it's not too distracting. And it features an almost fully perforated back which allows for good airflow but it's not too thin where it becomes see-through. Well done, Nike! There are holes for your thumbs to hold the sleeves lower down on your hands, which I always can appreciate in any shirt, especially on those colder days. There are two quirky features, though, which I think had great intentions but miss the mark just slightly. First of all, there's a watch "port". This allows you to keep your watch protected but at the same time allows for easy access when you want to use or view it. The idea is wonderful, but for someone like me who wears their watch lower on their wrist or has it slide down it's not particularly in the best position. The second feature is the forearm pocket. I love the idea of having a place to store my keys or some other item but as someone with a small to medium frame like myself, the sleeve is just a little too loose in that location which causes the item in the pocket to move around way more than I'd like. It definitely becomes annoying after a while. Fit and Feel: I always like clothes that fit true to size and that is true for this shirt. It has a nice close but comfortable fit on top and is a little looser towards the bottom. Overall length and sleeves are great, and the neckline is also snug but comfortable when fully zipped. As someone who lives in the Pacific Northwest the weather and trail conditions aren't always the greatest, so I was incredibly pleased to find out that this shirt worked well as a standalone and base layer shirt! By itself this shirt keeps you protected in the front, cool in the back, warm on mildly colder days, and cool and mildly warmer days. I wouldn't wear it on a hot day but on a cold day it's also a great base layer! Conclusion: A nice fitting, functional shirt that keeps your temperature well-regulated isn't always easy to come by, but we've got a winner here. Interesting and differentiating features, some of which might fall a little short, but all of which I appreciate having. At the end of the day, I'm loving this new addition to my closet, and I'll definitely continue rocking this shirt on my future walks and hikes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nike Dri-FIT Element Top is heading in the right direction in being a great addition to bearing the unknown adventures. It provides a very loose fitting, that doesn't hug your body or suffocate you like some other athletic tops. The material used with a combination of polyester and spandex provides a soft to touch, and premium feel while wearing it. During morning runs, visits to the gym, and casual outings the Nike Dri-FIT Element Top provides a good layer to bear the cold weather, while also allowing for natural venting to prevent overheating, and sweat accumulation. On light rainy days, it kept me dry as water didn't stick or soak the top. The pockets located on the arm sleeve provided an adequate amount of space for your key(s) or items as small as credit cards to carry. Some of the negatives I've experienced with the Nike Dri-FIT Element Top get in the way of this top being a phenomenal must-have for my wardrobe. Unfortunately, upon arrival my top arrived with a broken zipper. The zipper was detached from the bottom, noticing that the zipper to zip the top up was not re-enforced. The quality of the zipper could be improved to handle the trials in which the top was made for. The top isn't something I would wear during heavy rainy days, as water soaks into the fabric mainly the front and bottom arm sleeves and weighs down the top overall. While overall the top is comfortable and stylist, the two part sleeves with the hand-covers makes the sleeves feel awkward with constant movement, rubbing against the user's skin repeatedly. Overall, I would wear the Nike Dri-FIT Element Top out to cold, light rainy days out on the trail. However, it wouldn't be my first choice in being my only layer to conquer the adventures ahead of a unknown day. The top is heading into the right direction in which could be an amazing piece of clothing in a very active and diverse environment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how breathable and soft the Dri-Fit Element top is! The softness in the material is felt right away and you can tell the quality is there. At first glance I thought it would be big fit, but I was wrong. The fit is perfect and extremely comfortable. During a small run, I felt the breathability and I didn't feel like I was getting overheated as I have in the past with other brands. This is a must have for those brisk days as it feels extremely light weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this top to wear when I go for early morning runs when it’s a bit too chilly for a t-shirt. And let me tell you, I made a great purchase! This quarter zip is just what I needed. It’s very breathable so it limits sweat and is great with sweat-wicking. It has a unique feature at the wrists where you can check your watch. I’m not the biggest fan of that but I understand the idea of it. That’s the only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5.
