When I started playing Pickleball a while back, I was playing in a pair of Nike Air Pegasus that are crazy comfortable, but my legs and ankles would hurt after an hour or two of matches. Decided I should start looking for tennis court shoes as I read about the lateral limitations movement of running shoes and how the bigger soles on running shoes can cause issues as well. As I started shopping, I saw a ton of tennis shoes that were frankly not very good looking, many from brands I’ve never heard of before. As I started looking at the Nike offerings, I fell in love with the Vapor Pro 2 from the looks and started watching video reviews from Tennis players raving about them. I place the order and boom, 48 hours they are on my feet headed to the Pickleball courts. What an insane difference a pair of shoes makes on the courts. First of all, the Vapor Pro 2s were comfortable out of the box, really feeling that Zoom air in the forefoot. I felt that I had much more court grip and quick movements to the ball over my running shoes. You can tell from the construction around the toe box and how the soles are made that the Vapor Pro 2s will hold up very well. I’ve played for hours and hours and these and the soles show zero wear. Lastly, after playing 2-3 hours of Pickleball the very first time I had these shoes, it was the first time I had zero leg or ankle fatigue like I did when I was playing in running shoes. The lack of pain and fatigue from wearing these still holds up today. So the moral of the story, if you’re a new Pickleball player, or an old pro looking to upgrade your court shoes, the Vapor Pro 2s are simply outstanding. Great comfort, stability, grip, constructed to last a long time, and with classic Nike good looks, these are the Ultimate Pickleball Shoes!

Let me start off by saying these are my most comfortable shoes to play in I’ve ever used hands down in any sport . I have a wide foot and I had doubts on the fit but it worked great I tend to have issues on the outer part of shoes towards my pinky toe do to my foot shape had 0 issues with these shoes straight out of the box I wear these shoes to play 3 to 4 hours most of the week sometimes longer on the weekends. I sweat a alarming amount my last shoes I played in where adidas barricades great shoe but I would leave the court with soaked shoes that sounded like a stepped in a pool these offer enough air flow where my feet aren’t destroyed after a long session. Had these for two weeks as of the writing of this review durability seems promising but one thing I don’t do much of is toe dragging I can’t speak ok that much for the shoes besides that haven’t had them disappoint me yet. if in between sizes I recommend going up half size these shoes have a great lockdown if shoe fits slightly big once laced tight foot is locked in.

Yes! This shoe is great. Finally a shoe that matches the comfort, support and looks of my favorite, the zoom cage 2. Very comfortable worn loose for coaching and great support when tightened for hitting. Please keep making this shoe for a while and please release it volt color!

huge improvement over the out going vapor pro. was not able to wear that shoe due to the lack of cushioning - I experienced shocks to my feet when landing hard after a sprint. gave these a try and they are honestly the most comfortable shoe i've worn in general. can wear them all day for standing at work and take them to the courts right after. light weight, good cushioning, extra rubber in high wear areas - great vapor by nike.
