Poor quality - breaking down after 4 - 6 weeks

My three active teens (one runner, one rower and one swimmer) have been using Nike Hyperfuel bottles for years and love them, so I got them these newer Nike Refuel w/ Locking Lid Bottles for Christmas - and within 4 weeks the bottles started to break down: all bottles are having issues with the seal - as a result the bottles are leaking. The hinge for the locking mechanism is also very weak - one is already broken. I just phone customer service and they told me to return the bottles to a store under product warranty. I will try that!
