Girl's Nike Track Jacket Gx Star

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the jacket looks sporty at first glance, the fit is quite polarizing. It features a cropped style, which feels out of place for a younger girl's track jacket. Instead of providing the coverage and warmth you’d expect from athletic gear, the shorter hem makes it feel more like a fashion statement than a functional piece of clothing. For active kids, this cut is impractical and just doesn't offer the comfort needed for sports or everyday play.
The fabric was the biggest disappointment. For the price point, you expect a certain level of durability and softness from Nike. Unfortunately, the material felt thin and cheap. It lacks the weight and "premium" feel of standard Nike pieces. It feels like it may not hold up well after a few cycles in the wash, which is a major red flag for children's clothing. My daughter said it didn't feel good.
If you’re looking for a high-quality, functional layer for your daughter, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. The combination of "cheap-feeling" fabric and an awkward crop cut makes this one hard to recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid adores this jacket, and since its the black and white version, it goes with everything including all his other Nike stuff. It's comfortable and actually protects him from the weather. We took it on a Eurotrip and it gave shade in warmer countries and then warmth in cooler countries. It's a steal for the money and durable - can't wait to pass it down to my daughter(though Im sure my son wont be happy lol)

Fits snug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one absolutely loved when they saw this come in. Anything Nike is their go too. This is a track jacket so the fit will be snug. Knowing that, and that the fabric won't stretch, I was worried about it because my child is a little broad. It was a little more snug then they are used too but works well. They actually have a 5k coming up and this will be perfect to wear since it may be a little chilly. We love the Nike brand in our house and this didn't disappoint. I loved the Nike down the back of it. It also is very very good quality. It seems like it is tough. With children, it has to be. This is very stylish and they already have their outfit picked out for the 5k along with this. I am excited about buying them more of the lifestyle collection.

Great Jacket to Up Your Workout Look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Track Jacket GX Star is perfect for my little 9 year old fashionista! She’s all about exploring fashion and finding her look. She loves that the GX Star jacket is cropped and has a drawstring at the bottom for a more fitted look. The white sleeves truly pop and the Nike written vertically really gives it a unique look. The GX Star jacket is lightweight and perfect for this transition from summer to fall. My daughter could easily wear a short or long sleeve shirt underneath. The only con I would have is the jacket is not breathable. My daughter does complain that it can get hot in the jacket. However, that is the only negative we both see. My daughter and I would both recommend this GX Star jacket to anyone looking to add a little fashion to your workout look.

Cute jacket but strange arms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids track jacket. I wanted to love this because the style and design are perfect for my 6 year old. It is lightweight and has adjustable draw strings. It allows it to be worn loose around the hips or snug at the waist to stay warm. The body is generous but appropriate. The wheels fall off at the arm length. The arms are so long that it makes the jacket unwearable. I thought the issue could be my son but I had two other kids try it on and the arms were the same. Sadly, it just missed the mark.

Not true to size - small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely NOT true to size. SO much smaller than expected; even though it says “oversized”. I originally got it for my 7yo who wears small and ended up giving it to a very small five-year-old. The fabric is great for a windbreaker so it’ll be good for a NorCal Autumn and Spring. He’ll get some use out of it. Size up probably x2 if you want it to fit right.
