Lightweight, Responsive, and Built for Quick Moves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GT Hustle Academy really impressed me on court. The fit is snug without being restrictive, giving me a locked-in feel that helps with quick cuts and transitions. The design is sleek yet performance-driven, with a low-to-the-ground build that makes me feel faster and more agile. The fabric and materials are lightweight but still supportive, keeping my feet cool during long runs up and down the floor. What I liked most was the cushioning—it strikes the perfect balance between comfort and responsiveness, letting me stay explosive without feeling weighed down. Honestly, I wouldn’t change much; it’s a great shoe for players who rely on speed, agility, and all-day comfort.

Amazing All Around Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the padding and protection these shoes have around the ankles. I am a light build so the support on these feels great. It makes them a little tight initially but break in period is still pretty short as the fabric makes the shoe flexible. These run true to size, if you wear AF1 I’d half size up from that. Indoor court grip on these is on point and minimal impact when jumping. It’s nice that these are light it feels like I can wear them all day as casual sneakers, then when it’s time to run or ball they can perform. The design on these is clean! They will continue to be a no brainer pick when getting ready to head out for the day.

Flyknit needs to come back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes really surprised me. For a budget shoe they perform better than expected and with a little more technology they could be top tier. Years ago, flyknit was all the rage then it disappeared. I love that flyknit is making its way back into performance shoes, the weight and breathability is unmatched. Having it in a shoe at this price point is crazy. Style wise these look great. I’d rock em casually if needed and on the court they look great. Durability is always a question with flyknit, especially in a basketball shoe but I have flyknit Kobe’s from 10 years ago still holding up. I know these GT Cuts will last. If you’re concerned then keep these for indoor. Using these for some indoor runs and my feet stayed cool the entire time. I had no issues with heel lift or hot spots. An area of improvement could be the sole. It’s a bit soft for my taste and play style. I enjoy the stiffness of other shoes that helps with cutting and explosiveness and the rendition of these GT Cuts is a bit soft for that aggressiveness. Obviously this is a preference thing, so don’t take it as an extreme negative. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, I can recommend these shoes to someone that wants a solid basketball shoe at an amazing price point.

Better than Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shoe was better than expected as soon as I put it on foot. Out of the box, this pair just seemed like a standard lower tier basketball shoe. I was thoroughly surprised from the jump because I’m typically a signature shoe buyer. The cushion was better than some other models that I’ve played in. There was no heel slippage that I’m accustomed to in lower cut models. The flyknit was very breathable and wasn’t too stiff that needed break-in time. The courts I play on are typically dusty but I never doubted the traction and was able to play the entire time without having to wipe the soles once. Halfway through I did a squeak test and the traction passed with flying colors. Overall this shoe is very well made and passes all tests needed to prove its capability as a great option. If this model had a signature athlete’s logo on it, it would be the best selling model in the basketball catalog.

Best Comfortable shoes !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable shoes, what I loved about them was that they feel light. They don’t get you tired quick cause of the comfort it has in the sole, it feels like you’re walking on cushion. The fabric is magnificent, is breathable. Which doesn’t make your feet sweat and makes it feel more comfortable. I would definitely recommend these shoes because they’re really comfortable and easy to wear.

Great looking basketball shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G.T. Hustle Academy basketball shoe is a very attractive and well designed shoe. The feel of the shoe is comfortable while still being supportive and flexible enough to move with my foot. However, it does run small. The 10.5 size I received fit considerable smaller than other 10.5 shoes I wear. This made this particular shoe a little too tight. The design feels sturdy and comfortable. My foot and ankle feel supported. The build up of material around the heel takes some getting used to, but does seem to lock your heel down so you are not slipping out as you run and move. The upper fabric is very comfortable and feels durable enough to not wear out anytime soon. I would like it to have a little more venting as it does seem to lock in heat causing my feet to sweat more than usual. Overall, I really like the design look and support of the shoe. It is durable and supportive. The laces lock the shoe down to my foot well and the sole has great cushion while not feeling bulky. If I were to change anything I would get a size up from my normal size and see if there was anyway to allow for more heat release. I would recommend this shoes to athletes, especially basketball players for being a supportive shoe that will last.

Solid choice for the court

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike GT Hustle Academy is hands down one of the most comfortable basketball shoes I’ve played in. Even though I usually prefer high-top designs, the thick, supportive fabric around the ankle gave me great stability and confidence during quick cuts and jumps. The fit is generous, perfect for wider feet and the overall feel is lightweight yet secure. The fabric is durable but breathable, keeping my feet cool through intense games. Design-wise, it looks sharp on and off the court, with a modern aesthetic that stands out without being too flashy. What I liked most was the balance of comfort and support. It’s rare to find both in a lower-cut shoe. If I could change anything, I’d maybe add just a bit more cushioning in the forefoot for impact protection, but that’s a small note on an otherwise excellent performance shoe. Definitely recommend these to players looking for a reliable, comfortable pair for everyday training and games.

Awesome Basketball Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Nike Basketball Get Hustle shoes for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really impressed. The fit is snug but not restrictive, giving me great ankle support without feeling heavy. They’re comfortable right out of the box—no awkward break-in period—and the cushioning really absorbs impact during quick stops and jumps. I’d size up half a size from your normal size. The design is sleek and modern with a nice balance between performance style and streetwear appeal. The mesh upper is breathable, which keeps my feet cooler during intense games, and it’s reinforced in all the right places for durability. The sole has solid grip, even on slightly dusty courts. The lightweight feel combined with great traction is the standout for me—it makes quick cuts and direction changes feel effortless. If I could tweak one thing, I’d add a bit more padding around the tongue area for extra comfort during longer practices. Overall, these are great court shoes and my go-to for now.
