    Son loves Phantom, 3rd pair, just order 1/2 size up

    My son is 16, and this is his 3rd pair of Phantoms. Definitely order 1/2 size bigger, but when he puts on for first time he gets a smile and says they are so comfortable. There is no loose material so fits like a glove. We tried a pair of Adidas Speed and way more room in toe box that he didn’t like. When we first switched from Predators to Phantoms, he tried on 8 pair of boots and picked Phantoms, and here we are 3 pairs later and every time we try another boot to compare. Peoples foot shapes are different, so I think once a player finds their shoe just stick with it!!! Also, they are FG, but the many round spikes make it more a multi ground so better for Artificial Grass than other aggressive cleat designs. I wish Nike made more Artificial Grass boots (and in Pro model) as most kids in US play artificial all the time, and every HS field is AG. In last 2 years, my son has only played 4 on real grass, and he practices on AG.

    Nike please work on the QC. I used to have no issue with size and I wear size 8. Size 8 of these cleats is a bit tight and size 8.5 is a bit loose. Mercury Vapor is the best so far.

    We’ve had the cleats for 65 days and they’ve already torn. My daughter is 14 and wore them 3 times a week. Unfortunately, we are 5 days over the return period so now we have to deal with making a claim.

    My son wore these for a few months (couple dozen practices) and the built in sock/collar gave out. Which caused his foot to slide around in the boot. Rendering them useless.

    Look good, feel good, play good. My first cleats I’ve ever owned and definitely my favorite. They are good if you have wider feet with the nike skin technology and don’t run loose at all. Definitely a great pickup if you don’t want the Elite cleats. Definitely size up one.

    Very good cleats. I would recommend getting half a size up. If your a 9 and a half like me a size 10 would fit perfect.
