Its very comfortable also my performance is higher as a defender so I recommend this shoes for the player that plays on the exact position

Solid Cleats After Break-In Period

I was concerned at first about the uncomfortable fit of the cleats, but after steaming the cleats and applying leather treatment they seemed to break in fine and loosen up. It may take a match or two to feel comfortable in these cleats. The upper calfskin is nice and the cleats offer good protection around the foot. I'm a size 11 and felt as though the cleats were very tight around the laces and upper. I'd go 1/2 size up if you like more wiggle room around the toes but stick with your true size if you don't mind a tighter fit at first.

Sleek Design and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters, I love the design and look of the shoes. They are sleek, and stand out, but not in an overly flashy way like some sports shoes can be. They’re definitely comfortable to run in, and have good grip. I have no complaints so far.

Phantom GT2 Academy exceeded expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phantom GT2 Academy cleats exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical of these cleats at first because I usually get different models from Nike. This cleat was easy to get on and off and felt nice for a long day of soccer. They are supportive and comfortable and could be worn for many games in a row. I wore them for 3 days strait at soccer camps and they held up quite nicely. Visually, I like the sleek look of the cleat and the angled tie is unique, but works well. The studs on the bottom are great for any practice or game. The one change I would like to see is a sock like feature coming off the top like that of you see in some of the mercurial cleats by Nike. Over all, I think these are amazing cleats, great support and they look very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these Nike Phantom GT2 MG for my son who is really loving soccer. His feet tend to be a little on the wide side and the Nike Phantom's fit him well. He said that they felt great the entire game. He loves how they look and he even had some of the other players asking about his shoes. We will be buying more Nike cleats for him when he outgrows these, since the Phantoms have been doing so well for him.

Sleek, stylish boot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that drew me to this boot was the color scheme. The colors are sleek. The gold pops against the black color and gives it an overall sharp look.
I would say they do fit true to size but the toe box is narrow. If you have wide feet you may want to size up half a size. I’ve only been using these for about 1 week but with more use I do think the toe box will loosen up some. This definitely hasn’t been a deal breaker for me though because the boots have been comfortable to wear several days in a row.
If I had to change something it would be a slightly wider toe box. My favorite thing about the boot is that they feel well made and like a top of the line product. Even though I haven’t used them for very long, they feel like they will hold up well for a long time.
