    Best but not perfect

These are definitely the best running shoes I’ve ever had, and I can’t go back to any others to the point I have a rotation of 7 pairs of these. That being said, one reason I have so many is to prolong their usage since they are designed to eventually wear out to the point they fall apart, which is one drawback considering they are the most expensive running shoes Nike offers. Despite that, you really do feel like you are running on air, compared to any other shoe making it feel like you’re running through mud, and they drastically mitigate the chances of getting shin splints or blisters. The only other negative is the squeaking. Most of my pairs have that issue but I found that rubbing the soles with dryer sheets can help lessen if not remove the sound completely, but still too common of an issue that I hope they figure out how to remove in future versions.

This is my second pair of Alphafly’s and I can’t say enough good things. The shoe is amazing. I started off in the 4% then advanced to the Next %’s and this is by far my favorite. Looking forward to seeing what’s next. I am usually a 5 in women’s and I had to move up to a 5.5 but that’s no different than any other Nike racing shoes I’ve had.

They seem high quality and are very comfortable and make running easier. The downside though is the quality is lacking. The foam is falling off the shoe since my second run with with them. If you’re going to make “a premium” shoe, it should be premium.

I'm new to long distance running and read good reviews on these. I bought two different pairs from different brands to try. They were comfortable but the reviews were right about them being loud shoes. They are squeaky with each step you take. I decided on the other pair. Love the colour combinations available in this shoe though!

No, I do not recommend this product.

    His very 1st pair

I ordered these for my husband. So far, he likes them. These are his very first pair of carbon plate sneakers. I ordered a pair 1st, loved them, and then ordered his. He's worried they won't last the full 300 miles, but we'll see in a couple months. We both feel that our feet and lower legs do less work in these. So to keep balanced, our goal is to switch carbon and minimalist sneakers every other run. The tote bag we both received in our shoe boxes was a nice treat, but may I suggest a shoe horn instead? These sneakers are tough to get into. We both have to use a shoe horn to get feet inside. Also, they're loud. We go clop, swish, clop, swish....We sound like a horse and buggy. Although, it's a rhythmic sound so it kind of keeps us calm. One more thing, he always wears size 10 1/2 in shoes, but deliberately goes up a half size in sneakers to prevent black toe nails.

These shoes are perfect for running! Very light and have wonderful cushion for running. I ran my 5K race and PR in these shoes. As they provide an awesome feel!

Holy moly....these are my first carbon plate sneakers and they're amazing! They're a totally different feel than what I'm used to, which has always been 'feeling the pavement.' So I was careful making turns because of the stack height. I didn't want to turn over an ankle. But no problem. I'm a perfect size 7. I can order 99%of my shoes online and they always fit. For sneakers, I always go up a half size. I got these in a 7 1/2 and it's a good fit. Just enough room above my toes to avoid banging them resulting in black toenails. My goal is to rotate these with my minimal stack sneakers every other run day.

Fast, light, comfortable & responsive but best for road only, not trail with gravel because rocks will get stuck in the fly plate on the bottom of the shoes. I ran a 1/2 marathon last weekend. I won my age group but Lost time because the route included a gravel trail section and a rock got wedged into the fly plate on the bottom of one shoe. I kept running with the rock in my shoe hoping it would come out but after a few kms I HAD to Pull over hold onto a tree lift up & turn my foot over, use all my finger & hand strength to get the rock out. After that I went back to a 7:30 minute/mile pace catching up for lost time. I will not wear these shoes again on gravel or trail. Fast shoes, comfortable & light, I love them.
