Nice Swim Shorts But Not Boardshorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these new Nike boardshorts thinking they would be more traditional boardshorts and they are not. Here's the thing, these are NICE shorts. I can wear them over my bikini bottom at the beach or in between locations, but boardshorts are longer shorts that more replicate men's swimming wear and these are short-shorts with an incredibly thin material. I would not be caught in public wearing these with nothing underneath as they would tell the world your entire story.
Pros: The style is cute, the fabric is nice and thin, they dry quickly, they are small and compact.
Cons: They are very short for boardshorts, they are too thin for boardshorts, they cannot serve as swimwear shorts without a bikini bottom underneath.
To conclude, these are nice shorts. I don't dislike them and intend to wear them more over my swimsuit. The lower review score is because these are not boardshorts and should not serve as swimwear shorts/bottoms without additional swimwear underneath.

The fit is true to size and flows easily in the water. The fabric is soft and feels comfortable to wear out of the water. Would recommend to anyone looking for a little more coverage, to feel confident and still look fabulous!

So versatile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These board shorts are are super comfy, and very very versatile! My local golf course is right below my favorite river and lake. I went from jumping off a beautiful rock into a river to practicing my putting on the greens all without having to change my clothes. It dries super fast and the material reminds me of a golf or tennis skirt. There's a nice litter zipper pocket on the back right hand side in the same location of your right back pocket of your jeans. It's not huge but it's big enough for chapstick, a small bottle of sunscreen, a credit card and ID. Or, in case you wear them golfing you can easily fit 2 golf balls in it. So useful, and the fact that it zips closed means when you jump into the water you don't run the risk of losing your belongings. Perfection! There is a brief liner which keeps you covered and your unmentionables, well... Unmentioned! They are very comfy, fit nicely, and dry quickly. They are a triple threat type of board shorts. I highly suggest them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These swim shorts run small. I got a large, even though I typically wear a medium in bottoms, and they were way too tight and riding up. The fit is very low rise and felt especially tight in the crotch area, which made them uncomfortable to wear. The material and quality seem nice, but the cut and sizing didn’t work well for me. If you’re considering these shorts, you may want to size up and keep the low rise fit in mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts are light, dried quickly, and stayed out of my way both in and out of the water. The waistband was comfortable and the shorts dried quickly when I was done in the water. I am a more casual user, so I can’t speak to their competitive use, it in my casual case, the shorts fit well and were breathable too! My only complaint would be the lack of a usable pocket so I could wear them around more.

You’re completely covered, but they won’t interfere with any type of swimming activities. They do have an underwear lining in them so that they have a very close fit. I definitely like these.

Remind me of my favorite run shorts but with a material designed for water. The brief is comfortable and I can’t wait to wear these to swim. I have worn them around as I would with other running shorts and they are super comfy. Great length and good design!
