Comfort and Performance in One

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Nike In-Season TR 14 in black because I’m starting CrossFit and needed something that could keep up with the variety of movements in those workouts. Right away I noticed the fit runs a little small, so I sized up by a half size and that made all the difference. Once I had the right size, the shoes felt lightweight yet supportive, with just enough cushioning to soften landings while still feeling stable underfoot. The breathable mesh fabric stood out to me — it kept my feet cool during long sessions and added a flexible feel that let me move naturally through everything from box jumps to sprints. What I’ve liked most so far is the flexibility in the forefoot. It really makes lunges, jumps, and quick changes of direction feel smooth and natural, which is important for CrossFit where the workouts are never the same two days in a row. I also appreciate how versatile they are. The sleek all-black design looks sharp in the gym but works just as easily for running errands afterward, so I don’t feel the need to switch shoes. If I could change anything, it would be to add a little more midfoot stability for side-to-side movements and improve the sizing so it’s more accurate out of the box. Still, the traction has been reliable on gym floors and treadmills, and I’ve felt confident using them for both lifting and cardio. Overall, these shoes have performed really well as a starting point for my CrossFit journey, giving me the comfort, style, and performance I was hoping for.
