It remains the gold standard, delivering exceptional performance day in and day out. The rubber wrap on the side assitsts you in scaling any kind of rope climb. It stretches from the midsole to the upper and adds some support in the upper for multidirectional movements.

Larger Hyperlift plate in the heel improves stability by helping force weight down and out while adding rigidity in the heel. That firmness helps you feel grounded and supported, specifically under heavier loads.
The lace lock system attaches to the shoe tongue, keeping your laces in place, so once you tie up, you can focus solely on your workout.

Helped with stability

I've only worn these once so far so review may be premature. However, I did my weight session in them, found them to be comfortable and I felt more grounded and balanced in them, which is what I was looking for. I've got wide feet and find the fit very comfy.

This is the best version of Metcon since the 6! Wide toe box & so comfortable right from the first wear. I have bought almost every color. It’s the only shoe that I wear to lift in & teach in every single day. I only wish you updated the colors for the Nike by you.Best shoe ever-please don’t change this fit!

Comfy from first fit

I’ve bought Reebok Nano 6’s for years and they’ve been great for CrossFit workouts. I recently switched to more HIIT workouts and really felt the need for more cushioning - especially going from box jumps to sprints and more. I bought the metcons in both 8.5 (my normal size) and 9’s as people said to size up. They were comfortable and had more cushioning yet the same stability as my metcons but the sizing was a bit weird. My normal size felt a little bit tighter/smaller but the 9’s felt huge. I stuck with my normal size and did my first HIIT workout and they were SOLID. Super comfortable, stable for heavy lifts, and most importantly didnt feel tight. Definitely my new favorite shoe. Highly recommended.

Nice looking shoe, but size up!

I got these shoes for boxing bagwork training, they seem good so far. An important note though - definitely size up. I usually wear a 6.5 so got a 7, but I actually had to exchange them for 7.5 - I've never worn a 7.5 in my life!
