Nike Women's Run Dri-FIT Essential Pants, Running, Training, Lightweight, Reflective

These pants are truly amazing for running! I've been an avid runner since 1994, and I've always preferred running tights over pants. However, today's running tights are all too compressive, high-waisted, and overly focused on sculpting our bodies to actually be functional. These pants allow me to move and breathe as freely as I did in all of my old running tights. Great, lightweight material with amazing stretch and breathability. I will need a warmer version for the coldest winter days here in Boston, MA. Note to Nike, and all manufacturers: I care far more about function than smoothing out my "rolls". I couldn't care less how I look while running. I just want clothing that allows me to actually get out and run. I hope to someday see more functional clothing like these pants in your running line.

These pants are proof that Nike's not what it used to be. Cheap material, sending it back!

Very disappointed. I have a previous edition of Dri-Fit running pants and ADORE them (I travel in them, workout in them, play sports in them, etc.). I sought out a second pair and when they arrived was gutted to learn that the new version is a completely different fit, less flattering, and less functional. The use of two different fabrics is neither attractive or useful from an activity standpoint and the zippers often dig into my ankles. I continue to search through the site trying to find the older pair and am frustrated on each visit. This version is regulated to the back of my closet and used only when all other workout bottoms are dirty or if I want something baggy that will not be seen by anyone. I love Nike and this is hands-down my least favorite item I've ever purchased.
