I’m no expert in playing but these shoes held my foot in place, no uncomfortable rubbing or sliding around in the shoe when I was lunging forward and moving quickly. The shoe is nice and light, but is also hard wearing. The rubber sole runs higher up the front to protect the shoe from wearing when you drag your toe forward. Overall this is a great tennis shoe for a casual player, looks smart and feels great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the fit, these are in line with most of the Nike trainers that I buy and run true to size. They feel supportive for sporting activities and comfortable enough to enjoy after finishing. I regularly wear them for social activities as well as sporting. I was initially drawn to the shoes by the design (white colour way) as it really appealed to me and what I like, they are a lovely summery shoe that goes with any outfit and don't look like a focused sports shoe which is nice. Overall I'm really impressed by the versatility of the shoe as an everyday trainer as well as a focused sports shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I often have to use sports insoles in my active wear footwear as I have a high arch and cover a lot mileage daily in different footwear, often leaving me with painful points on my feet without the use of insoles. The problem with insoles is that footwear that is designed to closely support your feet becomes very tight and restrictive. So far, I have used these Vapor Court shoes to play indoor badminton and tennis on an outdoor astro type court, and I definitely don't feel the need to add an insole, as they're super comfortable and supportive as they are. The soft, breathable material outer allows for quick and varied flexible movement and the fairly narrow opening to the shoe gives just enough support to your lower ankle without compromising on movement. The inner sole is cushioned to perfection and the outer sole works well to keep movement flowing, avoiding skidding or jarring. And they also look great in very en-trend colours right now - I wear a lot of sage green and pastel colours and these shoes are versatile and good looking enough to wear with fashion clothing for just getting about your day! My only observation of a potential issue is that you may need to size up by a half or full size if you have wide feet, which I do have. I normally wear UK size 5 in most shoes, but these are a size 5.5 and although they were a little tricky to get my feet into for the first couple of wears, once my feet are comfortably inside, I feel the extra half size is a benefit to offset their potential narrowness if that's something you normally have an issue with.
