Nike Performance review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Nike Zenvy performance top for something easy to throw on top of your workout outfit. It is light weight and very comfy. It fits perfect over biker shorts and a sports bra and easy to take on and off. Though living in Florida does make it hard to wear the item year round, it is still lightweight enough to throw on in the summer. I'm really enjoying this performance wear as a new staple to my athletic wardrobe .

Not my favorite for athletic wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had mixed feelings about this top. On the one hand, the fabric is very soft and comfortable to wear. It was true to size and fit me well. I found it flattering. However, I dont love the design, especially for athletic wear. Personally, if Im wearing a jacket type of thing to work out in, I like it to close so I dont have to worry about it sliding off my shoulders or moving around while I'm moving. I dont see this top being something I reach for that often. It could be good for throwing on after working out at the gym, but that's not something I do at the moment. I will still use it for throwing on at home or running errands, but for an athletic wear design it misses the mark for me. It would like it more if it had some kind of closure.

*Bummed* It's not the style for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric? Soft, lux, breathable, quality - everything I expect and appreciate about special Nike collections. The style? Trendy, perfect for wearing over a bra top or regular sports bra. The fit? Disappointingly OVER oversized. I ordered based on the size chart but the sleeves were too long and the drape overwhelmed my frame. And, tbh, the cropped back length felt a little weird for a layering top that is drapey in the front. The front says "wear me to pick up the kids from school after hitting the gym" but the crop length leaves your bum totally exposed, which is strongly not my preference in workout leggings or bike shorts. Maybe if I sized down the fit would make more sense, but as it is, I can't imagine wearing it while doing any athletic activity; it would only be useful for pre- and post-workout.

Nike Zenvy layering top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fit and feel of this top! It is so cozy and soft. It is a perfect top to be active in since it is lightweight but also keeps you warm. Even though it is oversized, it stays in place, for the most part when walking or running. I love the dri-fit material. It doesn’t collect lint and is perfect for any type of weather. The one thing I wish it had is pockets. I like to put my phone in my pocket when walking or running and this top didn’t have it but it isn’t a deal breaker.

High quality fabric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this oversized jacket. The material is very high quality, heavy but quick drying. It is intended for layering so not for heavy sweating in. The back bottom trim is ruched but there is no zipper or buttons or snaps so I’m not sure what the purpose is. I could see if it has a fastener so the elastic could keep the jacket from flapping around but it does not. It feels like it should have pockets but does not. The edging is very wide but I’m okay with that. Oversized for sure and I should have sized down. If I was layering over a tee and another warm up jacket just for warmth it would be good, but for jogging or running not really great. I do expect it to hold up very well and the material feels sleek. The waist is higher in the back with more like tails hanging in the front. High quality but lower usefulness.

Buttery Soft Nike Layering Top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to receive the Nike Zenvy Women’s Dri-Fit Oversized Long Sleeve Layering Top for review. I kept checking my mailbox because I was so excited for this to arrive!
I am an avid walker and prefer the outdoors for exercise, so this was a perfect item for me to review. Fall will be here before you know it and I am sure this will be in a regular rotation for me to wear in the cool mornings.
When I opened the package I was very impressed with how soft the fabric was. The texture was buttery soft with a nice overall thickness, not thin at all but thankfully not too thick either!
The top has elastic in the back on the bottom hem that fits right at the waistline and is cut to show off those “buns of steel” that are always a work in progress for me. The front of the jacket angles down slightly in the front and is very flattering. It looks great with a pair of leggings and a tank or t-shirt. I would wear this to the gym or out on a walk or jog. You could easily tie it around your waist if you needed to cool off for a bit as well.
I am short (5’2”) and I think the jacket was a little big on me, but not too big to wear anyway. I run between a small/medium and the jacket I received was medium.
If I were to change anything, I would be tempted to add pockets, but I am a pocket person anyway. The Nike logo is on the upper back between the shoulder blades, and unfortunately my hair is long and does cover that.

Gorgeous fabric and flattering cut!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this piece for layering. The fabric manages to be thick and luxurious feeling without feeling bulky or hot. The cut is fantastic. I think it would have limited use during workouts, but is perfect for on the way to the gym or for a walk. Honestly, it’s so pretty you could probably pair it with a linen pant or jean and no one would realize you were wearing “work out clothes”.
So, first, the fabric. Again, super thick. The weight of it is really there and it’s not see through at all. You can tell it’s going to last a really long time, the color is rich and soft at the same time (I have black), and I don’t think you could wrinkle this if you tried. It feels nice on your skin and despite being thick it is also exceptionally breathable. I’ve worn it in some pretty hot and humid weather and been comfortable.
Second, the cut. Love. LOVE the cut. It’s definitely built with a loose feel and oversized cut with drop shoulders and generous amounts of fabric in the body and sleeve. If you straddle a size you may want to keep that in mind when you buy and go up or down based on how loose you like your clothes. There is no zipper so it’s very loose and flows, it remains open in the front. There is an intentional and nicely detailed hem along the front/neck so it reminds me a bit of a kimono style garment when you see it from the front. The cuffs are slightly tapered and bunched so it doesn’t go anywhere, plus the weight of the fabric keeps it in place really nicely. However, the BEST part of the cut is the back. While the front is long, the back is slightly cropped with a gathered hem. It gives it a waist and shows off your assets for sure. I don’t care what size you are, that’s a wildly flattering look. Cozy, comfy, cute, loose in the best places and gathered in the best places, I don’t care who you are or what body you have, you would look good in this. I, for example, am over 40 and getting back into working out as a mom of two small children. I LOVE that this hides my c-section belly but reveals and focuses on my rear.
How to wear: I think this would have limited use during a workout because it doesn’t zip up. This isn’t something you can go for a run in or do any floor work while you’re wearing it. I could see doing a weight warm up, speedy walk, or hikes in it. Where I think it shines is getting to and from the gym. It’s a super flattering look to throw over a sports bra if you like a little coverage on the way to the gym but a more open outfit for workouts. It could easily slide over dancers gear, swim wear, and any gym attire. The unique thing about the piece is that it ALSO is so flattering and well made that it doesn’t have to be saved for the gym. Pair it with some nice joggers for an athleisure look. A linen pant and tank to dress up and class up a casual look. Over beach wear to elevate the look as you head into a restaurant while on vacation. Honestly with the right bottoms you could wear this on a date or to the office. It’s so pretty it could be a chameleon piece that goes from date night to gym to afternoon walk. It’s really an awesome piece and I love it so much.

Excellent quality, mid-weight and stylish

Its been great for early morning walks before the heat kicks into full gear, and manages to keep me cool even if my walks go later into the morning. The construction and material of this piece are excellent, it has a nice weight to it and you can tell just by the buttery smooth feel and the looks of the seams that this will last for a long time. I'm excited to have this in regular rotation in the fall, as it's the perfect addition to my wardrobe with how versatile the look of it is!
