Product Details

Fine-tuned for marathon speed, the Alphafly 3 helps push you beyond what you thought possible. Three innovative technologies power your run: A double dose of Air Zoom units helps launch you into your next step; a full-length carbon fiber plate helps propel you forward with ease; and a heel-to-toe ZoomX foam midsole helps keep you fresh from start to 26.2. Time to leave your old personal records in the dust.

  • Two forefoot Air Zoom units combine with ZoomX foam to store and return the energy back to you, powering every step.

  • Featuring a slightly wider carbon fiber plate for increased stability, a fully connected ZoomX foam midsole for smoother transitions and an all-new Atomknit upper designed for improved multidirectional containment and breathability.

  • Notched laces offer a secure but soft lace-up. An integrated knit tongue with lofted padding helps alleviate lace pressure.

Not worth the money

I bought these for my 13 year old runner. She tried them on and went to a leisurely run down the laneway and back to test them out. The bottom colouring is already peeling off from her test run. For the price they should last for more than a test run.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Expensive shoes, painful fit

Nike should fix the sizing instead of telling runners to go up half a size. In my experience, a full size up would have been more accurate. I bought these expensive shoes in November 2025 and gave them several chances before reaching this conclusion. I wore them for a 4-mile run, a 15K, and a few easy runs before finally using them for a half marathon in March 2026. Early on, I started getting blisters under my arches, which almost never happens to me. Then during the half marathon, around mile 5, both of my toenails started to hurt. After I finished and took off my socks, I realized I had lost two toenails for the first time in my life. Yes, the shoes felt light, but that does not make up for the poor fit and the damage they caused. For the price, this was extremely disappointing. These shoes were not worth it for me.

Fantastic Running Shoe!

Fantastic shoe. Super lightweight. Beautiful pink color. Great for the trade mill running during winter months. Love Nike because I have a narrow foot and asics are too wide for me. I’m an older runner so anything lighter will be best for me.

size up from your usual running shoe size otherwise the toe box is not comfortable and too small.

Vaporfly is my marathon shoe but sadly the midsole is narrow again I can’t run in these. I wish they would make a narrow or wide version for everyone.

Marathon tested marathon approved

I have worn these for all the marathons I’ve run and nothing else compares. The carbon fiber plate offers perfect bounce and support I need during a long run. The new stretch braided laces instead of the previous barbed laces is a great new feature. I’m normally a size 7 but always order a size up for marathons size 8 gives enough room without being too big. Wouldn’t run a marathon without them.
