We used these as gear ties to secure our water bottles to our canoe thwarts, and they worked perfectly. They also helped hang a lught from a tree and keep it pointing where we wanted it. These are really versatile things, and are great to have in your camp pack or tool bag.

Great idea and product….can’t believe I hadn’t seen this until recently…bought several sizes and they all do a great job from tying device cables to my solar cables for our camper trailer.

I used mine only a few times, using it on a backpacking trip to hang my toiletry bag. I had it coiled around a tree branch outside my tent. I uncoiled it and one medium tug and it split in half.
