Misleading Search Result – Not True Swim Shorts

I was extremely disappointed when the O’Neill Women’s Solids Balboa 2 Shorts arrived.
I searched for “swim shorts” on Sport Chek’s website, and these appeared in the results. While they were priced higher than I would normally spend, I trusted the O’Neill brand and expected them to function as true swim shorts. Unfortunately, they arrived without a swim liner, which is a basic and essential feature of swim shorts. These are essentially regular shorts, not suitable to be worn on their own for swimming.
As a result, I now need to purchase bikini bottoms to wear underneath, which defeats the purpose of buying swim shorts in the first place.
I would also like to note that I was specifically searching for these shorts for my tween daughter, who does not yet shave, and I was hoping they would help her feel more comfortable at the beach and pool. This product did not meet that need at all.
There appears to be a clear issue with the website’s search filtering, as these shorts should not be categorized or marketed as swim shorts without a liner.
