ON seems to have made cost-saving measures

Bought a pair of these Roger Advantage shoes 2 summers ago and you can tell that ON has made these new versions cheaper. They’re more common looking now. The previous versions had a more refined design and look to them. Which is why I loved them so much. And if you ask me, it is why ON has over-taken NIKE as the more popular brand. I’ve also noticed that they are now using thinner laces which of course are cheaper. The thicker laces gave a more plush and high-end look. Perhaps all of this is why these shoes were on sale for $135.00 versus the $200-$300 price tag a few years ago.

Very nice quality shoes, super refined and detailed compared to the other major brands. Faux leather but feels like real leather allows for a nicer feel knowing that animals weren't harmed. Worth the price!

The most comfortable AND stylish everyday sneakers

Coming from 20 years of some of the best Nikes. You can wear these on a run with some sweatpants, and on a date with nice chinos, and they'd do great at both.
Wish they were a bit more durable and easier to clean, but it's not bad, except that chunks of the shoe are not made of leather (it feels like plasticky rubber), and those parts tend to get discolored.
But still, it's the combination of an attractive design and comfort that make me feel I've found the holy grail for me - one shoes for any occasion.
