Wonderful lightweight paddle with small grip

I am a former tennis player who just started playing pickleball. I’ve had previous elbow issues and a thumb surgery so I was looking for a paddle with a longer handle, very lightweight and a grip for my child size hands. Wonders of wonders this has fit the bill to a tee!! The grip feels so comfortable and perfect for my hand with no issues with my thumb and the lightweight makes it a dream for my body. I’m enjoying the sport; just have to adjust to the lower bounce of the pickleball.

The evoke premier pro raw carbon 16 mm is an awesom paddle. Fits my hand perfectly. My play has improved with this paddle. Better controll at the kitchen and power on serves and shots. Very happy with this purchase.

The Sports Car of Paddles

The 12mm Evoke Premier Carbon is a sweet paddle! It has incredible pop. The difference in power between it and anything I've hit with 14mm or thicker is pretty significant. The carbon makes the face come alive, but also adds control. I like that the weight of the paddle isn't excessive, and that it's balanced with a little more weight towards the handle. This makes my hand quicker in firefights and steadier in long dink rallies. You'll definitely notice your hands are faster at the net if you've been playing with something thicker than 14.
The 12 may not be the best choice for players still figuring out a consistent swing. But if you're already striking the ball well most of the time - or need a paddle that will reward you for doing so - it will likely help your game. It helped mine because it made me commit to my strokes. It's a high-performance paddle that loves solid contact.
