My torso is 17" so I purchased the S/M size expecting it to be on the shortest setting. I found I needed to have it just under the longest setting to fit me correctly with the middle of the hip belt on my iliac crest. I think you might be able to squeeze into this pack if your torso is 19" maximum. Easily the most comfortable pack I have tried on, very happy with my purchase.

I contribute my success of submitting Mount Kilimanjaro to this pack. It is extremely comfortable and when I was in the military I could really use this.

This is the first backpack I've ever purchased for myself. I shouldn't have waited so long. I've used ruck sacks, backboards, less modern equipment before and the difference is unbelievable. I can wear this pack all day lugging 50 or so lbs and not feel it in my back or neck at all. It carries enough of what I need, and if I need additional carrying capacity, it's easy to attach gear externally. I am very satisfied with this backpack!

I had an Aether that was 10 years old and recently replaced it with this pack. I was nervous at first because I was told that you would either love or hate the new suspension system. Well, I love it. The pack is so comfortable and hugs your body. I raved about it so much to my wife that she bought one too. She used the pack for the first time this weekend and loved it also.

Aether 65 is noticeably better with 30lbs of weight then the atmos 65 from my experience. I can be very picky about some things in life, I tried out both in store with an hour per bag. With the exact same large weight bags it's as if the Aether 65 bolts the weight directly to your hips. If you are a normal size and strength person I would recommend the Atmos 65 for 23lbs total weight and under. The Atmos 65 should be cooler in hot weather and I liked the feeling of the bag, it kinda hugged me better than the Aether 65. But if you know that you are going to be loading the weight on, it's the Aether 65 all the way. 6' tall 230 lbs 20.5 back measurement Purchased the large ( did try on both sizes with 30 lbs of weight )
