    Epic combo

I bought this pack for my wife and the Farpoint 55 for myself to travel India for a few weeks. Having just got back, these packs turned out to be perfect for our needs, we could fit in everything for our trip so we could fly with only carry on luggage from Scotland. We used the small packs for everyday walkabouts as they are very light and carry just enough for a short adventure. I went for an overnight trek into the Himalayas and the 40l main pack did the job well, very comfy to wear even when fully loaded. I did lots of research and glad I went for this combo pack, will be using them for a lot more trips!

I love my new bags, plus the accessory stuff bag & the gadget bag I bought too. The stuff bag is an absolute star & I used it everyday on holiday. However I wish I’d bought the fairpoint backpack on wheels as I found the fairview heavy when filled. I love all the Osprey range it’s very good quality & smart. I will be adding to my collection soon.

    The Perfect Travel Pack

This travel pack has changed the way I travel, and all for the better. I traveled Europe for six weeks with no more than 3 nights in one place, and while I usually dread packing and repacking, these bags made it easy and fast, even as I collected souvenirs along the way. The main bag is simple, flexible, and larger than you might think. The smaller bag is a perfect daypack and attaches easily (on the back or front), making this the best hands-free travel I've ever experienced. It's comfortable to wear no matter how full it is, and the teal color is beautiful! The size allows it to be a carry-on on flights, so it saves me money as well as time. I can't recommend it enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both packs are as described. Fits great & seems ideal for traveling (main purpose besides hiking). . . can't wait to try it out on the trails!

Bought to replace a different cheap rucksack for part 1 of our “Grey gap year”. POSITIVES: Not used in anger yet but loaded is comfortable, spacious and well designed. Compression straps assist in squeezing 6 months of clothing and kit in it! NEGATIVES: Unsure on the strap/clip design to hold the smaller rucksack to the front, don’t know if it’ll last for the whole year- we’ll see!

I’m so pleased with this rucksack! It has everything I was looking for, as follows: It’s very light; There are two rucksacks that clip together and the outside one has a hidden zip; The large rucksack opens right up so you can see everything in it; The straps can be concealed to make it look more like a case and there is a side handle; Good quality and comfy for hiking. I’m writing this as I find the Osprey website doesn’t clearly state the features of the rucksacks and sometimes a feature is called different things depending on which rucksacks sack you’re looking at.

    Amazing bag for backpacking

I went backpacking for 4 months around East Asia, Aus, NZ and this bag was incredible. We caught a lot of flights and so this bag was perfect for not having to check it in (although be careful about the weight restriction, you may be able to chance it or consider paying for an additional carry on if with air asia). This saved us time and the fear of cheaper airlines losing your bags! It was really comfortable to carry, my advise for carrying both would be to clip the small one into your front. This was a dealbreaker and saved my back! The zip in straps are amazing for flights or if you do have to check it in (some flights especially propeller planes give you free checked bag but you must check it in). I also bought a carribena clip which was useful for clipping something additional to the front (I did this for my pac-a-mac and travel pillow thing). If you’re doing something similar I would 100% recommend packing cubes they saved me for having some kind of organisation, and for being able to fit more stuff in. I am a serious overpacker usually so I think this size is perfect for making you condense what you bring (you won’t use extra stuff). I could get 10 days worth of clothes in my big bag and used my small bag for wash stuff etc. Hopefully this covers any questions I had when thinking about buying it. I know it’s expensive but 100% worth the money. My boyfriend didn’t want to pay as much and his bag was so uncomfortable he got shoulder pain. If you are going somewhere wet I recommend also buying their waterproof bag covers because unfortunately it does soak through pretty quickly.

the adjustability and comfort of this are superb (I am 5ft 1) and I easily carried 15kg around northern spain in it. The loaded daypack strapped on the back makes it a little too bulky for me, but it was easy to carry when needed
